We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy access, lots of options near by and it had everything we needed. Would note the flight of stairs upon entry into the apt for elderly travelers. We enjoyed it and are looking forward to booking the same place next year!
We loved the location to the downtown. The condo was comfortable and well equipped for all our needs. The one drawback was the noise from the water flowing from the units above, and the bathroom exhaust fan was not working correctly. We did have a wonderful visit.
Two Georgia Bulldawgs enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Behren’s Bear Den. The loft was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect for all the Waco attractions. Walking distance to the suspension bridge, Silos, Dr Pepper museum.
The Bear Den is just what you’re looking for. It’s clean, cozy, comfortable and convenient. This was our second stay because we liked it so much last year. Close to the Silos, walking distance from McLane stadium…this is your spot.
We came to Waco for the eclipse. This home was perfect for the three of us to stay in Waco. You only climb one flight of stair from the entrance to the living area. I would not hesitate to stay again.
The picture does this loft no justice! Everything from the location, the reserved parking and the safety ans convenience of the area was top notch! We were within of walking distance to restaurants, museum and marketplace. Due to the heat, we drove a block over but were able to find parking. The check in was simple and the rental company stayed in contact to ensure that everything was up to standards. The loft is beautiful. And everything was clean upon arrival. I would definitely stay here again.
Good nase camp for a weekend in Waco for Baylor football.
The loft was clean and is good for two people. Great location and very clean property. Nice to have a parking spot, but the lot was full of large vehicles which made getting out difficult at times. There are not many windows so overall natural light is limited and the ceilings are pretty low.
My husband and I stayed at the Bear Den while visiting our son and going to a Baylor football game. We loved everything about the loft. The location is so convenient for walking to restaurants and shops and the buses to McClane Stadium from the Chamber of Commerce are a block away. It’s so convenient to have a reserved parking space too!
We called to see if we could check in early and the woman I spoke to was so nice and helpful. We arrived at the loft and the building is so cool! The Bear Den was spotless and the owners really have thought of everything to make sure it’s comfortable. The Bedroom is quiet and the bed is comfortable. We slept so well and had everything we needed and a perfect amount of space. I enjoyed going to Fabled next door and we walked to breakfast one morning at the Olive Branch. We absolutely would love to stay there again / every time we come to Waco! It’s one of the best places we’ve ever rented.
The loft is in a great location for Baylor festivities, clean, cool, etc….but, when anyone in the building runs their water or flushes the toilet it runs through a pipe in the middle of the loft at a volume that scares you awake every 25 minutes. It literally sounds like someone threw a glass bottle on the wall and then water running for 45 seconds….over and over. The walls are thin enough to hear all the neighbors music and conversations. The building and loft are amazing, it’s just impossible to get a solid night’s sleep.
