Bear Lake Retreat is located in the heart of Cherry Log, GA only 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge or downtown Ellijay.  This property sits on a babbling creek that surrounds the entire cabin and makes the sound of nature feel right beside you. The property offers a leveled front yard that is perfect for kids and the whole family to enjoy the wonderful outdoors. Bear Lake Retreat offers easy road access, this cabin is truly for everyone! After a long day of enjoying the mountains, cuddle up by the gas fireplace and watch a great movie together. This perfect 2 bedroom/ 2 bath cabin is awaiting you for your romantic getaway or your family trip! BOOK TODAY! 



 



Bear Lake Retreat offers guests a comfortable stay in a real log cabin with 2 bedrooms, and 2 bath that sleeps up to four (4) people and offers the following:



King Master on the main level private bathtub/shower combo

Full bedroom on the main level

Main level communal bathroom with tub/shower combo

Great room with 45" flat-screen Smart TV, gas fireplace (gas fireplace only active Oct 1st- Apr 1st )

Covered Pavillion by creekside

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:











Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1 washcloth per person listed on the guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll of paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.



Required Fees include a $110 Cleaning Fee, a $65 Damage Protection Waiver, a processing fee, a guest service fee, and a 15% lodging tax

It was a very nice cabin! We especially loved the location, being able to see the lake and in an open area under the stars. Wish I would've come in the summer, because I bet it would've been great in the warmer months!

This cabin is exactly as described. We love this area and the cabin is the perfect location for hiking trails, and for visiting the cities of Ellijay, Blue Ridge and Helen, as well as Brasstown Bald. We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings to have a cup of coffee and in the evenings to do a little star gazing.My only complaint, but not a deal breaker, is that there is no dresser or chest of drawers in the bedroom, the only option is the closet.I would absolutely recommend this cabin.

What a beautiful cabin. Waking up with several deer walking through the property and enjoying the front porch with a cup of hot coffee was a great way to relax! We would certainly feel good about returning for another visit! Thank you for a nice getaway!

Weekend getaway

This is my first time renting a cabin. I’ve always wanted to do it but never took the time. The cabin was perfect. Loved the wood work and detail throughout the cabin. I most definitely would like to come back again next year but this time early October to see more foliage. It felt like a home from away from home.
