First, I’d messaged about early check in a week prior and then day of not only did they not accommodate the request I’d been told shouldn’t be a problem, but we literally waited outside the property for cleaning until after 4pm.
The yard is infested with fire ants, I got attacked while unpacking the truck, literally 30+ bites in less than 60 seconds.
The closet that showed multiple towels, hand towels, wash clothes….no, we had two towels that were paper thin, 1 hand towels and 0 wash clothes.
Washing wasn’t an option as there was no complimentary soap, AND the dryer wasn’t functioning. My electrician husband checked the machine, breaker etc., that wasn’t the issue, the unit was broken.
The shower curtain had mold on it, the shower head had so much calcium build up only some of the spatters worked! It was AWFUL!
The overall floor plan is super strange, from the jack n jill like bathroom access to the bathroom double closet doors at the entry, just strange!!!!!
The house was super small, only one TV, that had no cable and only Netflix, not even the ability to add apps you may subscribe too.
Most BNB’s have at least some coffee there, they had a dusty container with free grounds, more dust than grounds, and no coffee filters.
The property manager was very short, the cleaners acted as though they’d done us some big favor by having four people there….doesn’t matter if you are still cleaning AFTER CHECK IN!
