Lakeside Living w\sandy beach, gas fireplace -easy 25 minute commute to Portland

Enjoy swimming, boating, ice skating or ice fishing but get outside to enjoy the large deck, lake and large yard. When inside the large windows will make you feel like you are still outside so you can enjoy the views while you get cozy by the fire or cook in the fully furnished kitchen. Get a great night sleep in a comfortable bed after enjoying a show on the SMART TV. Take a walk or run around the lake which is exactly a 5k or walk over to Libby Hill trails. We have a Hannaford, Chinese restaurant, and Gas Station with a deli and pizza within walking distance. Windham is only about a 12 minute drive with lots of restaurants, shopping, etc. One of our favorite places to visit is Pineland Farms which is only ten minutes away. They have a great market\cafe and offer farm tours and outdoor activities for all seasons. This is a 4 Unit Townhouse Style Property but Unit 1 is very large with a private deck and fire pit. 3 smaller units have friendly year round tenants that you may see occasionally in the large yard or beach and dock areas.

This was the perfect property for a long-weekend getaway with family to visit our 90-year-old aunt. Staying lakeside added just that little “something”. There was a small hiccup with check-in, but Joan was very responsive and it was resolved within minutes. Also, though we didn’t get to take advantage due to a delayed flight, she was willing to accommodate an earlier check-in time for us, and allowed us to stay a bit longer as well, which eased our departure.We were able to take the canoe out on the lake for a lovely morning paddle, and if we’d had one more night we would’ve taken advantage of the firepit too.Having stayed at various bed and breakfasts, the one thing I’ve come to expect that wasn’t there was a “welcome to our cottage” book, binder, or page with details about how to leave the bedding, dishes, etc - but we got along just fine without it, and did our best to leave things in good order.I’d stay here again in a heartbeat, and thoroughly recommend a mid-May visit for lovely just-right weather!

The place was roomy and exceptionally clean and very well stocked when it came to kitchen items, towels, games, etc… The grounds are expansive and the views of the lake are magical. The happiest lakefront getaway we've ever visited

Our family of five stayed here for a month and had a wonderful time. The kids went fishing in the lake almost every day, and we enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks that were available on-site. The view from the large picture windows is really incredible in the mornings, and we took a couple evenings to watch the stars from the dock. The host was wonderful with communication and more than accommodating. We made some great family memories here, and would highly recommend the property.

Nice Christmas Vacation

The property was clean with an open floor plan. One of the beds was in a loft area which opened to the open area below. Very nice showers! It is at the end of a series of apartments, not a self standing house by itself. Close to my daughters home in Grey which made it very nice. We were happy with the accomodations.
