Sunset Retreat - This charming cottage on Canadarago Lake is perfect for your small group to relax and enjoy your time in the Cooperstown area. It is an easy, scenic drive to Cooperstown, the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Dreams Park.

There is a sunroom with a terrific view of the water and large level lawn. The well stocked kitchen and open dining area are easily accessible to the deck that features a gas grill and outdoor dining. On the second floor, there are three bedrooms: a king, a double and a double bed.

Enjoy your downtime in the large yard playing catch or sitting by the water's edge. There are local options for canoe or kayak rentals if you'd like to get out and enjoy the water. A dock is available for your use, great fishing can be found in the waters of Canadarago Lake - large and smallmouth bass abound, as well as walleye and even tiger musky.

Have the best of both worlds when you are here for baseball, with convenience to Cooperstown and the beauty of the lake!!

Ideal Lakeside cottage close to Cooperstown

We enjoyed this cute cottage while our middle son was at the Dreams park in Cooperstown for the week. The private dock to fish was perfect entertainment for our other 2 children. It was nice to be able to cook dinners when we didn’t want to go out to eat and the scenery was beautiful. Great stay.

Amazing views from the moment you walk through the front door. This cozy cottage is a gem whether relaxing by the lake or enjoying baseball at Cooperstown Dream Park. Surpassed our expectations! Definitely would love to return.

Great for Single Family Cooperstown Stay

25 minute drive from Dreams Park. Located on quiet lake. Private dock for use if you want to kayak, paddleboard, or fish. All kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom amenities were ideal for a single family. Window AC unites worked very well for the space and made it comfortable. We had a minor issue with a coffee pot and they replaced it immediately that morning. This area is quite secluded from the normal Cooperstown houses that may be more convenient to restaurants. With the way the schedules are at Dreams Park, that didn't really become an issue. I would recommend this to any single family that wants a quiet, small house to stay.
