About this property

House of Peace


Lovely 3 bedroom house with large property on quiet road. Dining room, kitchen, living room, laundry room. Small sitting room off the master bedroom.

There are puzzles and some games for children. Please feel free to use what you want. Close to shopping, beach, casino, ferry, LIRR, LIE, sunrise and The Hamptons.

House has been in the family for many years. Alot of good memories here. You will find it comforting and very peaceful. Beautiful private grounds. Grape vines, patio, fire pit, BBQ, beach accessories, patio tables and chairs. Use anything you would like.


Close to shopping, restaurants, beautiful Smithpoint beach, Jakes58 casino and long island rail road. 20 minutes to the Hamptons and wineries.

Gateway playhouse.
Patchogue theater.
Patchogue is alive at night with an array of things to do.
Splish splash water park is 20 minutes.
Lady of the Island Shrine is about 15 minutes.
Jake's 58 Casino 20 minutes.
Brookhaven Lab.
Fire island ferries only 10 min away.
Riverhead outlets.
SkyDive Long Island is right down the block.
And so much more.

Durning the Fall there are local pumpkin picking , fall festivals and haunted houses.

There are reusable bags for shopping due to Suffolk county having a 5 cent charge for all plastic bags. They are in the kitchen on shelf in island or in breezeway.

There is menus from local restaurants if you would like delivery.

Please feel free to use the coffee, tea and sugar and what ever else you need.

There are extra towels, blankets and sheets in laundry room.

If you need a playpen please do not hesitate to ask and I will have it waiting for you.

There is also folding chairs in closet.

Guest must be 21 years of age or older to book.

NO DRUGS

This house has been in my family for generations. Please respect it as your own.

The steps going to bedrooms upstairs are steep and might be hard to come down. Please use extra caution with everyone. Do not let children play on steps or go up and down unattended.

The outside property is yours to use but again please be cautious. Like any yard it has its dips in the grounds that might be uneven. Also the concrete in places may also be uneven. Explore at your own risk.

There is , basketballs for court behind garage, football, bubbles, baci ball etc. Use what you would like. There is also chairs,umbrellas and coolers for the beach.

We came on a family vacation to visit family and stayed with 6 people (4 adults and 2 small children). The house is very well keep, clean and had lots of space for all of us. The property was very well equipped and the backyard was beauitful. Everything was close by and Toni had everything you needed. The beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers were perfect for a day at the beach.Thank you, Toni we can wait to be back next year.

What a wonderful weekend! We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. It felt like home away from home and everything that was expected was spelled out clearly. Toni is the perfect hostess…checking in with us and wishing us well for my Mon’s 90th birthday we were attending. The home was spotless…a/c’s worked great…plenty of hot water for showering…I can’t say enough good things. The home & property are truly peaceful & serene. Montréal to Long Island

Second stay in this quiet neighborhood in this nice house with a super yard to play or have breakfast. Feels like visiting family! Well situated to visit beachs like Smithstown, Robert Moses or our favourite, Watch Hill on Fire Island taking a ferry from Patchogue 15 minutes from the rental. Our host is very easy to reach. Thanks.

Perfect family base

Toni is an amazing, gracious host- so communicative and helpful! Check-in and check-out were a breeze and we appreciated the cleanliness of the whole house & property. There were plenty of linens, towels, and we made use of the beach chairs (didn't need the coolers or umbrella but they were available too.) There were spices & condiments and it truly felt like home. Great proximity to Baseball Heaven for my son's tournament (30min to Brentwood fields) + grocery store/food options nearby. Quiet neighborhood too and 15-20min from Smith Pt. Beach. A/C units worked great in all rooms + upstairs bedrooms and it was so helpful to have a washer/dryer. We will definitely stay here when we're in the area again, thank you! :)
