Everything was as it appeared in the pictures if not better. The place is wonderful and remote. Not too far though from Wrightwood. Communication was great. Miss it already.

wondering why the bad review, I have a 4.96 rating over 8 years?
A beautiful property that offers the opportunity to separate from the busy streets and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Max is very friendly and a great host. He responds quickly to any messages and offers some nice suggestions on the local area. The cabin is well maintained and the views are well worth the drive. Highly recommend
We’ve stayed at a lot of different properties in Wrightwood, and this was by far our favorite. The game room was the perfect space for our kids- they were not on screens the entire time we were there!! It has a cozy cabin feel, and has all the necessities we needed. The host was wonderful and we will definitely be booking again! Also the space was bigger than it looks from the photos- overall a great experience.
I was looking for a few days of solitude and relaxation and found that at the cabin. The remoteness was an appeal for me and I loved the time to just be by myself. Area is beautiful and I could easily find enjoyable activities as I desired, but mostly I just wanted to stay in. The cabin was very comfortable and had all the creature comforts needed. The host was extremely helpful and communicative and answered every question quickly and efficiently. It was an amazing time. thank you!
What an amazing, fun, and relaxing time we had! The cabin was just what we needed for a family Thanksgiving getaway. And yes, a getaway it is! Make sure to arrive in the daylight - the road is so much scarier at night - but no matter when you arrive, you may not want to leave. There are so many games, a pool table, jacuzzi, tv's (my game was on!) that we only left for food and sledding - which Max even had available for us! Warm, homey, and very nostalgic, but has so many modern touches that I can't wait to add some to my own home! I'm pretty sure we will be back :)
The high life, baby! Wow, what a view 15 mins. from Mountain High!!
My wife, son and I thoroughly enjoyed our six-night stay here. Such a relaxing getaway from work and city life. Huge pluses for us included the hot tub, numerous charging lines for tablets/phones, washer/dryer, big beds, available streaming TV channels, pool table, darts, MASSAGE CHAIR (YESSSS), EV charger, etc. The hosts quickly replied to Vrbo emails and we had zero issues. You'll want a 4x4 or chains if there's snow--steep dirt incline to cabin.Highly recommend. Thanks!
This is the only place I'll ever stay when visiting
For me, it is the perfect place to stay. Its location is on a ridgeline, which makes for an incredible and (at times) breathtaking drive to the cabin.
Once you arrive, the cabin itself is one treasure discovery after another. I can't speak highly enough about the space. I visited in July, so it was a little warm during peak daytime, but that's just more incentive to sit on the patio or in one of the two hammocks.
I got to meet a couple of distant relatives of some birds I see in my backyard, which was pretty remarkable as well.
The cabin is situated for maximum comfort and relaxation. There's a hot tub, a massage chair, pool table, many games, hot tub, darts, and the aforementioned hammocks. This place checked all the boxes for me and the host was such a nice guy who genuinely cared about our experience.
10 out of 10 and I haven't even talked about the views from up there! The sunrises are phenomenal and the sunsets are really great, too.
