Loved the property! Good amenities, good communication with hosts, close to the strand and the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!
From start to finish a great experience. Host responds to questions right away. Unit is clean and adorable. Kitchen supplies, supplies in general are spot on.

Kally and Orlando were amazing hosts. We loved the property. Super clean, cute and comfortable. They were easy to communicate with. We will stay with them again when we are in town! Had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend Sherbet Lane!
We stayed at this property with another couple the night before our cruise. It worked perfectly for what we needed. They were well stocked with everything we needed, the location was convenient for access to the port, and the beds were very comfortable.
Cute, comfy & cozy lil get away spot with everything you need. Hosts are very attentive if issues arise. Easily accessible and not far from beach. Definitely coming back! 🏝️💜
Very cute with nice personal touches. Neighborhood might be a small concern with guests who do not understand Galveston’s eclectic mix of old and new.
Loved that both sea wall and strand are within walking distance.
Loved that host called on day of checkin and had a representative on site to greet us!
You do have to park your car on the street and the apartment is not that walkable. So bring a car. Everything was clean. Fridge was stock. Honor system.
House was nice but too hot when the breaker tripped
The house was cute and close to the beach. The breaker tripped in the middle of the night and it was so incredibly hot. No air in the bedrooms. It took longer than I would have liked to get someone over to reset it.

very clean/cute but had issues
the home itself was absolutely adorable, decor was set up great. also was very clean and put together. but the shower water pressure was very low, would run out of hot water very fast, and the beds were not comfortable at all. they were very stiff. there was also no more coffee grinds to use when we got there which took away from the advertised “free coffee”. we texted property owners to see if they had more coffee and got sent a “large dog fee” for our puppy who is only 2-3 pounds over the limit and didn’t think that much would cause us to get a fee. she is certainly not a large dog as we have one and chose not to bring her. the area was also not great, many homeless walking around at all hours which isn’t a big problem but i wouldn’t spend much time outside if you plan on bringing little ones. overall, it was very cute and clean, but on the level of comfortability, its needs improvement. The dog fee just seemed petty and out of spite because they forgot to refill the coffee grinds, it just put a mood on our trip.
The decor at this cottage is super cute. It's an old building that has been updated aesthetically. The floor is uneven and you can feel it in some places. It was clean and had everything we needed. We didn't prepare meals, but used the fridge and microwave. Grateful for the water bottles! There are two bedrooms, to access the one you walk through the other. To access the one bathroom you walk through one bedroom into the laundry then into the bathroom. Because it was just the two of us, it wasn't an issue, but if two couples were staying here it could be awkward. The bathroom is tight, wasn't a problem for us, but could be for others. The window AC unit in the bedroom did the job, but was loud. We always travel with a small white noise machine (highly recommend!), so that helped mask it a bit. The neighbors several doors down had a very large outdoor party the night we were there. Loud cars and loud music. Again, the white noise machine came in handy! This cottage is a second level with access via outdoor stairs. Overall, our stay was pretty good.
Very comfortable place to stay in Galveston, my friends and i stayed here the night before our cruise and it was in a very convenient location only 5 minutes from the port of Galveston. The place was overall very clean and well stocked with anything we would need for our short stay or a long one.
The location was perfect—close to fishing charters, beach access, and a great selection of restaurants and other attractions. It made our stay both convenient and enjoyable.
Nice place, clean, comfortable, I feel like I am at home!

Okay
Communication with host was spotty. I didn’t receive check-in instructions until I requested on the day of check-in. When we arrived, we found that there wasn’t a bulb in the one bedroom lamp, the one and only shelf in the bathroom was hanging on its side by one nail and there were no batteries in the light up mirror in the bathroom. None of these are a big deal but I did expect them to be corrected. I messaged host and they responded that they would try to have someone out the next day. That didn’t happen and I never heard back from anyone. The bathroom was warm with no ventilation. Air conditioning is provided by window units. Luckily, we met family at the beach and showered at their condo.
Was a pleasure to stay at the property. Everything clean and Perfect. Thanks a lot

About the host
Hosted by Kally & Orlando
We love Galveston. It's an interesting and fun island. There is a lot to do in the area and our property is centrally located, so we are close to everything. We personally suggest having a vehicle when you stay. This island is large and walking would be tiresome.
Why they chose this property
Our neighborhood is a multi-cultural neighborhood, centrally locally in Galveston. Because it's centrally located, you will sometime hear the sounds of sirens. In addition, our neighbors across the way enjoy the island vibe which includes listening to music and hosting small gatherings. They typically turn their music down by 9:00pm. When you're inside the home, you can barely hear the music. If you are sensitive to sounds, our property may not be the best option. If you enjoy experiencing liveliness and ethic diversity, then our property is perfect.
