View sunsets over the lake from the large covered front and rear elevated porches and dock your boat or fish from your own deep water boat dock and pier in the back yard. Enjoy the New Orleans experience just across the bridge and enjoy historic Slidell with our hometown atmosphere right around the corner. Great fishing and fresh seafood year round, wonderful restaurants, and lots of activities. Mardi Gras boat parade right in your back yard. Catch beads and party without leaving home! Beautiful place

The owners are very knowledgable and helpful with things to do around the area. Very friendly neighborhood and very secluded. The view from every window in the house and from the decks were amazing!

We loved the view of Lake Ponchetrain! The drive to New Orleans was very easy, about 30 minutes to the French Quarter. The house was very clean and looked just as the pictures.

We enjoyed the month in this Slidell property. VERY quiet but near shopping, etc. Even caught some fish off the dock.

New Orleans Trip

We rented the house as a base to see everything in and around New Orleans. The house was perfectly located just out of New Orleans to save money. The house was clean and well layout. We were very happy with the accommodations.

This home is beautiful & spacious.The view is gorgeous and the dock made for some fishing! The owners were great and accommodating.We are planning to stay here on our next visit. The neighbors are great!Phil’s was our favorite place to eat.Reasonable & delicious!

Great Location

We had a wonderful trip! The location was great - easy to get to New Orleans, the Gulf coast, close to good restaurants in Slidell, and right on the water. The condo is roomy and comfortable. It was generally clean, but the furniture and carpet could use a good cleaning. The host was very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay again!

It was in a good neighborhood and close to New Orleans.The check in was very easy. It needs a deep cleaning and furniture updated but other then the condo is good.

Just the right distance from New Orleans

Nice condo/townhouse on the lake. About 30 minutes out from New Orleans. My sons fished off the back dock. We enjoyed the amazing fireworks show all around the lake on New Year’s Eve. Check in was incredibly easy and the owners were very accommodating due to a date change for our vacation.

Beautiful Place to Stay

This house was perfect. It had beautiful views, was peaceful and quiet and only about 25 minutes from the French Quarter when we wanted to go. Deb was wonderful to deal with and so helpful whenever there was a question. Her suggestions for restaurants were good, too. The house was even more spacious than it looked in the pictures. Thanks for a great holiday.

Comfortable and relaxing

The house was amazing. Hard to beat having the canal in the back and lake Ponchartrain in the front. Excellent views from both front and back decks. Especially enjoyed watching all the Pelicans in the front of the house. Debbie was an amazing host with superior communication. Would definitely rent from her again.

Enjoyed our stay in Slidell

Debbie was great at communicating and the house met our expectations. It has a nice view of the lake on one side and the canal on the backside. The location seems remote, but it is actuality fairly close to shopping in Slidell and a 30 minutes or so drive to New Orleans. This unit is one side of a duplex and the next door neighbors are not the neatest. That said, the house was quiet and we enjoyed our stay. It was a great value for my family of five.
