It was a pleasure to host Lea and we look forward to welcoming her and her family back in the future. Simply wonderful guests.
The host was very welcoming and helpful. The place was very clean and quiet overall. The location was very convenient for exploring Old Town and surrounding areas.
Wonderful location and attentive hosts. Was great for touring around the city, and having the parking spot was huge for getting out into the countryside.
Everything about our stay was wonderful! The host was so welcoming and helpful, the flat was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the location was excellent. It felt like a home away from home!
The location was very nice for walking and enjoying Edinburgh. The places to eat and enjoy by the host were excellent! We enjoyed them very much. We had a wonderful time!
Was easy to find way around Good restaurants close enough to walk and moving around the icity was easy. Place was clean and comfortable. Grocery store was close to find the essentials we needed. Easy to contact the host when we needed to. The only downside was the one shower wasn’t working but we made do. Had a great one day trip to St Andrew’s and again finding the bus was eVery easy. Took the tram to the rugby match and that was great. Again travelling around was very easy. Really enjoyed our time. Thx bz
Location, location, location...by far the strength of the property. Literally adjacent to the Royal Mile, walkable to and from the beautiful sights of Edinburgh. Parked our car and then only used it for some out-of-town activities. Our host was gracious and earnest. We had a couple of minor issues that were communicated about and repaired with sincerity from the property owners. Alistair, (did I spell that right?) our host, checked in with us often. My wife and I traveled with another couple, and our stay was a whopping 11 nights. Would return...and recommend.
The property was absolutely perfect for our 8 night stay. Convenient to everything that Edinburgh has to offer. Alastair was a great host and very helpful. Would recommend this flat to anyone staying in Edinburgh on holiday.
This flat was perfect for a family vacation focused on touring the city. Located in easy walking distance to the Royal Mile and close enough to the train station to walk with roller bags, we couldn’t have asked for better. The hosts are also very responsive.
The apartment is just steps off the Royal Mile! A perfect quiet location Easily accessible apartment! The host was easy to communicate with and provided plenty of suggestions.
Great property and the location was perfect for visitors. Property manager was interested in your comfort and very responsive to our needs.
Highly recommend this property for easy access to the Royal Mile.
The apartment was fantastic and in a great location. However, we were not advised that the road accessing the flat from the Royal Mile was closed. As I informed the host, I am elderly and have mobility issues, the road closure caused numerous problems with my use of Uber which I needed to explore the city.

It was a pleasure hosting Lucille. We weren't aware of her mobility issues until after she arrived. The arch to the Royal Mile remains open to pedestrians and only temporarily to vehicles. Taxis/Ubers still have access to the Royal Mile via Carlton Road (1 minute extra journey time) with a pickup possible at the door.
Any guests or potential guests with mobility issues please contact us to discuss how best to navigate the city.
Property is centrally located - walking distance to Royal Mile and easy access to buses. Apartment was clean, as described and perfect for our family of three. Host was available and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again if opportunity arose.
