The host was a lovely lady who couldn’t of done any more for us especially when I was celebrating my 60th birthday The location of the property was brilliant , the house was like home from home everything you needed throughout your stay was there and the cleanliness was 100 % you could not ask for more We will definitely return next November and certainly would recommend to anyone looking for a brilliant holiday home The property was a credit to the host

Great home and excellent owner. Home is perfect for a relaxing beach vacation located in a quiet residential neighborhood just steps from the beach. Yet, you are close enough to drive or walk to the more tourist areas of Clearwater Beach and all of the shops and restaurants. We look forward to coming back next time we are in the area.

Fantastic stay

We absolutely love this property. The location is perfect - just steps from the beach in a quiet neighborhood - and is wonderful for a family stay. The property is spacious and well maintained, with all the features we needed for a great vacation. The owner is delightful and quickly responds to questions. This is the perfect Florida rental.

Sunny and Relaxing

This was an outstanding location to call home base during our time in Florida. Super easy to access from the airport, super easy to access the beach, and endless opportunities to wander and enjoy the sights, food, and beverage while still having quiet and relaxing evenings. Everything was superb. The property and amenities are absolutely as described, the photos do not do the property justice. The location is fantastic, a short walk to the beach and a pleasant stroll into the centre of Clearwater Beach. Sophia was a great host, only a call or a message away if we needed anything or had any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again in the future.

Awesome place to stay!

Everything was great! Sophia was a great host! She was very helpful. The place is spacious , clean, and just a few steps to the amazing beaches. We were able to see dolphins almost everyday, found plenty of seashells, sand Dollie’s etc. short drive to all of the shopping , restaurant, and of course world famous Peir 60! Thank you Sophia for everything. We will recommend this place to anyone and we will be back next year!

Really great 6 weeks

We've been going to Clearwater Beach for 6 weeks, every summer since 06 and have stayed in several different homes up and down the beach. This house was great for our family of 4 and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Sophia was very kind, attentive, and easy to work with. Her home was just what we needed and we were so sad to leave. We are planning on going back next summer.

Unique home away from resorts and crowds

Sophia was very friendly and checked in politely after the booking, before our arrival, and during our trip. There were some nice touches when we arrived and the home was clean. It's across the street from an access point to the white sandy beach, and it's walkable to restaurants and shops. There's a lot of construction noise from the rebuilding after the recent hurricanes, but that's all of Florida right now. The 2 main bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the 2 main showers were nice. The main living area is open and homey, the kids liked the big TV and enjoyed looking at the shells in the front yard. Overall it was a great home base for our trip!

Interrupted stay

The property was great - just what we wanted. Unfortunately we had only been there two days when the hurricane arrived.Initially we were told by the owner that it would be ok to stay, but the alarm alert told us to leave which was just as well as the island was shut down and all power gets turned off. The hurricane hit the area badly. When we suggested getting a refund for the 8 unused days, we were told we would get 2 free days next time. Not impressed with the wrong information or the attitude. We would have been in danger had we taken her advice and stayed.Shame as the property is in a great location but also didn’t have a hot tub as described. Ended up out of pocket as had to pay for alternative accommodation on the mainland for the remainder of our holiday.

Perfect amazing vacation

Sophias home is nothing more than perfect for a wonderful vacation. From the moment you enter her house you know youve made the right choice. The house was immaculate, every accommodation was there for what you needed. I absolutely love her place ,very spacious,decor was awesome. Every member of my family was more than happy with her home. When we arrived there were even drinks in the fridge which was perfect as we got settled in.Her home is closely situated to stores,and plenty of places to visit while you are there.And then there's the beach. Directly across the street,so beautiful. The area her home is in is very beautiful and we met alot of the people that live there.It was just an awesome vacation.Sophias communication with us was more than pleasant,,guarantee you, if i would have had the chance to meet her there would have been the brightest smiles and tight hugs. Lovely Home in Excellent Location

My wife and I spent most of February-March, 2023, in this beautiful home and can say that the pictures and writeup of the property are 100% accurate. The spotlessly clean, non-smoking, home has been completely modernized with a recent quality renovation and is in a wonderful location just 2 houses from the access path to the beach. The open floorplan, lovely decorating and abundance of windows makes for a delightful Florida style environment. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. The gardens both in front and back are lovely and provide an abundance of seating arrangements. Because the waterfront home across the street has see through garage doors both front and back, you can actually enjoy the sunset from the front garden of the home. This neighborhood of high end homes is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. Sophia was just wonderful to deal with. She and her husband met us upon arrival and made us feel like they was welcoming a family member. They even left us some wonderful local food and refreshments! Throughout our stay Sophia checked in regularly to see if there was anything else they could do to enhance our stay. Both this property and its owners are truly delightful! Terry & Dawn Matchett
