My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and very close to the beach. The pool is great and was a huge hit with our group. We had a couple of small issues and the communication was easy and handled in a timely manner. We enjoyed our time.

Couples Trip

The house was perfect for our group of senior couples enjoying a long weekend at the beach. It is well stocked and spotlessly clean! The owner was super-easy to work with and very helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

**I want to say upfront that we did not contact the host about the issues we had, so I cannot speak to how quickly the issues would have been corrected.**When we arrived, there were several dead bugs on the floors of multiple rooms. There were three that appeared to be cockroaches in the kitchen. I lived in Wilmington for several years and am familiar with "water bugs." These appeared different than those. Also, there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms. We found a small liquid soap container under the kitchen that seemed to have been left by a previous renter. There was also only one trash bag. This may have been listed somewhere in the post, and I missed it, but I found it odd since many rentals provide a bag in the can and one additional bag. The floors seemed uneven, which was fine, but the floors in the two bathrooms with showers only felt like they could fall through at any minute while showering. We also tried washing laundry the last night. We had to ultimately turn off the washing machine because it was making loud banging noises that could be heard from the beach. The location for a short trip and the pool were ideal, but the issues would keep us from returning. **We arrived around midnight on Friday and left Monday, so we did not want to waste time contacting the host to sweep up bugs (we did this and purchased soap ourselves) and the washing machine issue was found at night on Sunday).**
