Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire property, including the cozy living spaces, spacious upper deck, and the smaller deck area. The only exceptions are a storage closet, basement, loft, and shed, which are not available for guest use.

There is also a small utility deck located on the right side of the house, off the back of the living room. While it’s not explicitly off-limits, it’s not designed as a guest space and lacks the setup for relaxation or activities. We encourage you to enjoy the main deck, which is fully equipped for your comfort and enjoyment!

The Neighborhood:
Nestled in the historic mountain community of Sugar Pine, this charming village was originally built over a century ago to house workers from the Madera Sugar Pine Company. Today, it’s a peaceful retreat surrounded by towering pines and pristine natural beauty.

One of the area’s highlights is Lewis Creek, which winds through the heart of Sugar Pine and is located just across the street from the cabin. Strolling along the creek, with its soothing sounds and scenic views, is one of the most relaxing ways to enjoy the neighborhood and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.

The location is also a gateway to some of California’s most sought-after destinations:

Yosemite South Gate is just 7 miles away, offering quick access to the wonders of Yosemite National Park.
Bass Lake, only 15 minutes away, is perfect for swimming, fishing, and water sports.
The nearby town of Oakhurst, also 15 minutes away, features charming shops, restaurants, and cafes for your convenience.
The Lewis Creek Trailhead, just steps from the cabin, offers scenic hiking opportunities that immerse you in the beauty of the surrounding forest.

Getting Around:
Car is required to get from the cabin to the Yosemite National Park (7 miles) and Bass Lake. Lewis Creek trailhead is 3 houses away by the Sugar Pine Community sign. Parking on the driveway for 3 cars.
