About this property

West Seattle Hideaway, 5 min from downtown/stadiums

This new construction will be the most convenient stay in West Seattle, We are 300 feet from a rapid ride bus that is 5 minutes to downtown Seattle, Pike Place Market, Lumen field/T-Mobile Park, and light rail. The Hideaway is in a unique secluded area with a Rhododendron native garden. There are an abundance of local fresh beer pubs, and live music. Hideaway has TV, wet bar, and internet. There is a H-line Rapid Ride bus stop with a dedicated lane to downtown/stadiums about 1/2 block from unit. It takes 5 min. on the bus to downtown! We are almost door to door with Pike Place Market. We also have a dedicated parking spot for a large vehicle (not motorhome).
We have soundproofed the ceiling but the separate unit with it's own door is below our house so you may hear occasional footsteps.

Wonderful little hideout in West Seattle

Loved our stay!

This was an awesome spot for us! We loved the convenience of the check in/check out, and the apartment had everything we needed and more! The nearby beach is gorgeous and has a great view of the Seattle skyline, and Pike Place/The Space Needle/all of downtown is an easy bus ride away. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cozy basement suite

This beautiful basement suite is clean, cozy, and a great location being super close to all the attractions downtown Seattle. Hosts were great and check in was super easy. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Alaska cruise

Very nice neighborhood with lovely flowers and greenery and trees. Very clean and neat. Especially appreciated good bed, clean sheets and nice bathroom with thick towels. Would stay again and gladly recommend to anyone.

Minutes away from downtown Seattle

The property and location was great. We loved the ease of getting on the new RapidRide to get to downtown Seattle. The mini kitchen area was great, thank you for the use of a toaster! Only comment we had was the early morning rumblings above us made it hard to sleep-in. Overall great place!

Rolling Stones Trip

Thank you for making our trip extra special. My sister and I made this trip from Oregon to see The Rolling Stones concert. Our stay was relaxing, and the home was inviting. The beds were 'Oh so comfortable'! Thank you for allowing me to bring my elderly dog. He enjoyed the stay as well. The neighborhood was quiet, and I felt safe to walk my dog at night. We plan on staying again when we are in the area. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Five stars in my book!

Great location, cute space

I had a wonderful stay in the hideaway. I was travelling by myself so safety was paramount, my secondary travel lock wouldn't work in the lock because of the type of door but no matter it was very safe anyway. The home was cute and had a fridge that fit everything, the outside was beautiful with all the trees and plants around which provided both a nice escape from the downtown life as well as shade for my car in 35 degree weather (celsius). The property owner responded promptly and was very friendly and inside the property there are recommendations of places to go, eat, get coffee at etc. It being a 5 minute walk from the bus straight into downtown was perfect, In total getting to downtown was about 15 minutes and saved on parking. It will be entirely uphill to walk back up after the bus just a heads up. My only complaint was the last morning I woke to footsteps from above but thats easily remedied by ear plugs + I didn't hear them the night before! I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

Hidden Away

We were comfortable enough in this unit. All pictures of the property should include evidence that it is actually a street level two car garage that has been cleverly flipped into an short term rental. The garage doors are mostly windows. An attempt at privacy has been made by bamboo shades outside and a folding screen inside but neither covers adequately. It may be a security concern for some renters. There is a curtain provided to turn the bedroom/bathroom area into a room with a bit of privacy but the second bedroom curtains do not actually close over the space occupied by the bed. It is certainly not private should anyone want to look in. There is no coffee maker, only an electric kettle and instant. Dishes consisted of a children's set of small plates and mini bowls. The wet bar is actually the kitchen sink and the refrigerator a wine fridge so no ice can be stored.The bathroom is beautiful and very clean with a large step-in shower. The host was gracious but keep in mind that there was a lot of noise from their home which is directly above the unit. Our host also asked us if we could leave before our checkout as they had a tight turnaround on the day we were leaving.It is quite hidden and a bit of an issue for rideshare drivers so we met them at the intersection at the bottom if the long driveway.Heating in the unit was good. Air conditioning is a portable unit vented out a window.We didn't have any occasion to use it so can't comment on efficiency.

Family trip

It was really nice and clean, the beds were super comfortable, lots of hot water for showers, heaters worked really good! Plenty of little games to keep entertained on down time. Close to a couple of really good restaurants, and easy highway access to get to different parts of the city. Host was very friendly.

Nice remodel, very clean. Arriving after dark was confusing as dead end driveway serves 3 houses. The host family lives upstairs in main house.Location was close to our destination, many shops & restaurants nearby.

I;ve asked my family for feedback. The bedside light isn;t working so that needs fixing. Also, the disposable dishes aren't up to the standard of the apartment and should be replaced by pottery (and if abused by a renter, charged to his bill!) Otherwise, very comfortable ad enjoyed, and perfect for our guests since only a few minutes from our house.aabbminutour house.

Cozy & Quiet

A surprising little space. Pictures don’t do it justice. Easy to get into town but staying on the SW side affords you peace, quiet and incredible views. Was a wonderful spot to come back to after the hustle and bustle of the city. The beds were super comfy too! I’d recommend easily.
