Plan your next long weekend here at this rustic cabin home. Get everything you need from this home away from home.

Spend your time relaxing in the hot tub, pampering yourself in the massage chair, cooking fabulous meals in a gorgeous stocked kitchen or curled up by a fire watching your favorite movie or current binge worthy series.
You will also enjoy the recreation room above the garage with a dart board and a regulation sized ping pong table.

If being outdoors is more your speed, hike around the lake (about 4 miles) watch all the wildlife outside, do a little fishing on the lake (winter/ summer) or snowmobile on miles of trails (winter, of course) and get back to the basics of life.

This space has one king master bedroom, two separate Queen bedrooms, and two queen beds in the recreational room.

Great place

This property was perfect. Host was gracious and answered questions promptly. We held a baby shower there and it worked out great. Beds were comfortable. Teenager (and adults) enjoyed the ping pong table. Very cozy and comfortable.

Family Reunion 2024

Beautiful home on a beautiful property. Had a small problem with a bathroom sink but owner resolved promptly (even on a weekend). Swimming off the property was impossible BUT plenty of water “toys” (SUP, paddle boat, kayaks, floaties) to enjoy the lake. Property was central to plenty of activities and places to enjoy. Convenient to MSP Airport. Would definitely rent again!

Fun Family House!

This was a great place for the kids & grandkids & grandparents. There was plenty of things to do for everyone, both in the house and outside. Lots of outdoor games and indoor games too! The boat was great! Well worth it! There was a short power outage while we were there, but the Prop. Mgr. was quick to respond to reset everything. Thanks so much!!

Weekend getaway

The house was very beautiful and spacious and accommodated our family well. The advertising of this property is deceiving. The property outside was very poorly maintained and not prepped for our arrival. We had to clean the outside furniture, the weeds in the cobblestone on the main patio were out of control, the hot tub was not the cleanest and sandy inside, and the screened porch was very dusty. For the cost of rental and charged cleaning fee we would have expected more property preparation.

Beautiful house with great lake views

We rented this home for our annual girls golf weekend. The design of this house is beautiful (modern yet rustic) and the layout is really functional. It is definitely a wonderful wooded setting. All the beds and rooms were comfy and clean. Unfortunately the lake is not for swimming as you have to wade through lots of weeds to get to open water. A ladder at the end of the dock might be helpful to avoid the worst part of the weeds. The excessive rain and heat of the season could just be making the weeds worse this year. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the condition of the shoreline at this property. If you are looking for a beautiful and spacious house with a view, lovely screened in porch and large hot tub spa, well equipped kitchen and more...you will love this place. We really enjoyed our weekend here and highly recommend this home if you don't plan to jump in to the lake. Entry to house process and the owners - all great. Diana and the Golf Girls

1. Oreck vac is fixed- we fixed it. Cleaned hair off roller and replaced belt. 2. Small cordless vac roller does not spin. Cleaned hair off that one also. Maybe a new filter is needed-it’s super plugged. 3. Rugs were dirty when we came in. Perhaps from no working vacuum. Main level bedroom smells like wet dog, or just a dog possibly sleeps on the carpet? 4. Freezer and fridge need a deep cleaning. Hair and dirt in bottom of freezer. 5. Washer detergent tray was moldy/gasket mildewed. 6. Garbage cabinet is extremely dirty and smelly. Trash bins are clean. 7. House is dusty 8. Wine fridge does not cool - if it is supposed to? Needs to be cleaned under and behind. Very dirty. 9. Whole house could use a deep cleaning including kitchen cabinets and drawers. 10. Many burned out bulls throughout the house. Multiple Ping pong balls in fixture above table. 11. This is a gorgeous property! Loved our stay, just thought you might want to know about these few items. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful property!

Our friend group booked this property to spend quality time, in a natural setting on a lake, yet close to city activities. This Bone Lake escape brought it all and then some. Sadie was very responsive, the home was clean, and the hot tub was a delighter. We liked the easy access to the lake for kayaking and paddle boarding, plenty of room on the driveway for parking, the massive kitchen and living room space for cooking meals while conversing, and the screen porch for dining with a view away from the elements. We also enjoyed the fire pit. The bedrooms were plenty big and accommodated all of us so we each had our own bed. Bathrooms were plentiful too. The best part about this location is the feeling of being in the woods surrounded by nature, yet very close to bigger cities for day trips. We visited Stillwater, Scandia and Taylor’s Falls. We would definitely return and highly recommend to anyone looking for a glamping experience with a group or family.

The house was very nice, but the property could use cleaning up such as trimming of the bushes and weeds pulled. The cushions on the chairs outside were dirty were we couldnt use them but the back deck was wonderful for beautiful conversation! Would love to see what it is like in the summer with the use of the dock and all the accessories. The house had everything we needed.

Peaceful retreat near wedding venue

We chose this house for how close it was to Redeemed Farm where our son was getting married. It was so peaceful and quiet. We especially enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub over looking the lake. The host was great to respond to questions, super nice to work with.

Wedding Stay

This property is absolutely beautiful and a very peaceful, gorgeous setting, and a little bit rustic. We were not able to enjoy all the amenities as we were just staying there for our daughter’s wedding and had too many different things going on. The house was very comfortable and large with lots of space for everybody, and had a fun ping-pong table for our two grandkids! Our only complaint was that the floors were not clean, so we had to sweep and clean it up a bit. I think the cleaners just forgot to do the floors. Other than that, it’s an absolutely stunning place!

Amazing Retreat!

Spent the weekend at the Bone Lake Escape with the family celebrating my wife’s birthday. We had 6 adults and 2 teens and the cabin had something for everyone. Tons of space for everyone and plenty of amenities. The home is cozy, with lots of great little details. Also, I’ve stayed in tons of short term rentals and have never stayed in one that had EVERYTHING I needed in the kitchen. Really appreciated having a fully functional kitchen space! Wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Girl's Weekend

Sadie and Bailey were great hosts! Very accomodating due to some "hiccups" prior to check-in. If you're looking for a beautiful home on the lake without neighbors in direct sight, this is it! We were warned ahead of time about a neighbor who enjoys to complain about noise, so as long as you're respectful, you shouldn't have a problem staying here! I would say a little more upkeep on weeding/landscaping and cleaning/dusting could be done, but given the hosts were spending their time focused on making sure to fix a hot tub issue before we arrived, the weeds and dust were the least of our concerns 😉 We came for a beautiful place on the lake, with water access and a hot tub, and that's what we got! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!

Beautiful Cabin

What an amazing cabin. We stayed during the winter. Loved the wood burning fireplace and hot tub. It was close to a couple ski hills, and also close to some good restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
