- This is the mountains and cell service may be spotty. This does depend on your service provider.
- You are surrounded by nature and you will likely see bugs, ants, etc. Please rest assured, we do pest control treatments regularly. However if food is left outside or garbage is not disposed off as instructed or doors are left opened this can attract uninvited guests.
-Gatlinburg is home to our "Mountain Royalty", our black bear population! There is a chance you may see a bear wander by. Do NOT approach them or lure them to the cabin.
- No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control.
- Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies. We maintain the cabin with regular pest control and do enhanced cleaning. However, these bugs come back right away as they are attracted to heat and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes.
- You are provided with a start up of toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. This is usually enough to get you through the 1st night of your stay. You are responsible for providing any extra items you may need for the remainder of your stay.
- To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety for every stay, we provide a fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, and dinnerware) but do not stock shared pantry staples like oils or spices. We recommend bringing your favorite ingredients to tailor your meals exactly to your liking!

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Gatlinburg. The location couldn't have been better. It's only about five minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, so you're close to all the restaurants and shops. At the same time, the cabin is tucked back in a quiet, secluded neighborhood making it a relaxing place to come back to after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our trip was the wildlife. We saw mama bears with their cubs on three separate occasions, all from the comfort of our porch! If you're hoping to see bears, this is an amazing place to stay. The cabin itself was spotless and very well stocked. The bathroom had plenty of towels, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and whenever we had a question she responded within just a few minutes. The communication was excellent throughout our stay.Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We will definitely be booking this cabin again the next time we're in the area!
The property was easy to get into and accurate from the description. The host was very easy to get in touch with and checked in with us while we were there. I would stay here again.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
The pictures shown on VRBO are not accurate. The bed you get is a flimsy mattress on a very squeaky metal frame with flat as pancake pillows that seem to be many many years old. The leather on the loveseat is peeling and even gone in some areas and the bathroom ceiling light/vent is loose from ceiling and hasn't been cleaned in a very very long time. There are two different light bulbs types in the bathroom as well. The A/C unit does not keep the place cool whatsoever which is why all of the dehumidifiers have to run non stop and be emptied on a constant basis. We didnt have one comfortable nights sleep here unfortunately and this was supposed to have been our relaxing trip away. For as small of a place that this is, its sad that it wasn't in better condition and have way better sleeping furniture. The location was great and the hot tub was good.
the prettiest place! a little closer than expected to other people, the security light kept going off every time a car would go by so we thought someone was outside. it was a really clean place & beautiful on the inside, loved that we could watch TV in the tub!
Amazing! Great location. Super close to Roaring Fork rd. exit.

About the host
Hosted by Esther
Hello there! I am Esther, but my friends call me Queen as Queen Esther in the bible. As nothing relaxes me more than looking at serene forest, taking in the sounds of nature or listening to the rushing water of a stream, I wanted a cabin in the mountains where I can reconnect with nature and enjoy the simple things that give me so much joy and inner peace. I am so excited to share my "little paradise" with you and hope you enjoy my cabin as much as I do
Why they chose this property
This cabin is in the mountains yet only 5 minutes from Downtown and close to the best that the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer. If you love getting out in nature, being active or just want some much needed Rest & Recharge with your special someone, then the Brook of Love is perfect for you.
