Creole-style Cottage near Fish River

Take a break and unwind in this rural creole cottage near Fish River–actually just across the road. Put your kayak or boat in at the Honey Road public boat ramp only 3 minutes away. A central location for business and pleasure: beautiful downtown Fairhope, Grand Hotel at Point Clear, the beautiful white sands of Gulf Shores, and Tanger Outlet in Foley all within a 30-minute or less drive. The cottage is located on quiet dead end street. Attached covered carport for one car.
We often stay here and have created an inviting cottage featuring pine floors and ceiling fans throughout - including front porch. Master bedroom en suite bath has a vanity and vessel sinks, and a jetted garden tub with shower. Queen bed in master and full in other bedroom. Walk-in closets in both bedrooms. Note: there is only one TV which is located in the living area. Appliances include gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, blender, Ninja 10 cup coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator and washer and dryer.

Great for a weekend away!

My wife and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and loved it. It was a great place to unwind for a quick weekend away. Our only complaint was we were only able to stay for a weekend and not longer!

This cottage is lovely and the location is quiet, yet Routes 32, 98 and 181 are convenient for getting to the Fairhope area and other popular areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay. The porch swing was our afternoon spot after sightseeing. Debra and Myles are great hosts and made sure our stay was enjoyable. We highly recommend this home away from home!

Amazing Quiet & Perfect Stay

We stayed at this property for a softball tournament and wanted a quieter place to stay other than Gulf Shores. This house was perfect for what we were looking for! Quiet neighborhood and definitely recommend! If we ever travel to Gulf Shores for this tournament, we will definitely be looking into staying here again!

Creole Cottage in Summerdale Alabama

The Host did a wonderful job communicating with us, the property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We loved the front porch, the comfortable bed, ,the well stocked kitchen and the beautiful setting amongst the Lob Lolly Pines, It is close to Fairhope and just 20+ miles to Gulf Shores. We definitely would recommend this to those who are staying a week, or a month as we did.

Beautiful cottage

We loved the cottage! Very easy to book, the cottage was very clean, everything we needed for the weekend. So very nice, would give it 10 stars. Great bathtubs, and amenities, a great tub means relaxation for me! Beds were comfortable, large bedrooms. Pillows, towels, bedding, everything was plentiful and quality. Loved the porch for morning coffee time. We highly recommend this cottage rental.

Nice, comfortable week

My son and I stayed at this lovely property for a week. We had everything we needed. The property is lovely, well-appointed and very clean. We enjoyed places of interest in all directions each day, as we had never visited the area before. The front porch was a wonderful, relaxing way to end each day with a cold drink in hand. Fantastic little cottage home.

We loved the home and the location. It was within 20 miles of everything we wanted to do and see. The home is very cozy and clean. Oh, and absolutely GREAT water pressure. It was stocked with everything needed. We never had to even use our own coffee we brought. Will definitely be back and will surely recommend to friends and family. Thank you so much

Perfect cottage

This cottage was perfect for us-sparkling clean, well maintained, stocked with everything you could possibly need, comfortable beds and an awesome shower. Lots of beautiful flowers and trees and an outside porch swing. We had a maintenance issue shortly after arriving. The owner was very responsive and had it fixed immediately. The location is very quiet and peaceful, yet you have easy access to dining, shopping, beaches and other activities. We have already booked another stay in the fall.

The Cottage is everything we could have asked for in a rental. It gives the best warm and cozy at home vibes. Its so nice not to be in the hustle and bustle of town, but yet close enough to do everything. We will absolutely be booking again!

One of the best stays we've had

This place was perfect. Great location to drive to surrounding areas and visit. Not far to Mobile or the Gulf Shores. Also the best shower ever. Water pressure was awesome.
