The Bloomfield Cottage is a true sanctuary, a perfectly appointed little jewel nestled in a private corner of Nevada City one minute from downtown. It's the best of all worlds, totally private and serene but very close to everything. Inside you'll discover a layout designed for mixing it up with family and friends but when it's time to retire everyone has their own end of the house to retreat to.

You can spend the day hiking Sugar Loaf mountain (a short walk from the house), playing at the river or shopping in town and when the sun sets return to the warmth of the cottage, to make dinner in the well stocked kitchen or play games at the bar top or just nestle up by the fire and sip a glass of wine and let the evening melt away. This is where you come to take a deep breath, slow down a little, to take your time. This property was created and curated with comfort, leisure and pure unadulterated enjoyment in mind. So, go ahead - enjoy.

The privacy and convenience of the cottage is unparalleled. It takes one minute and seven seconds (we timed it) to get to the heart of downtown Nevada City. Yet, despite the close proximity to town you will be pleasantly surprised by the privacy, seclusion and cute as a button-ness of the property.

The driveway can be hard to see upon first arrival. The GPS wants to take you to the exact house location on North Bloomfield Road so keep your eyes out for the driveway as you approach.

Cozy Retreat

My husband, our two small pups, and I enjoyed a quiet getaway in this beautiful home. Perfect weather to cuddle up by the fireplace while admiring the views from the two sliding doors. Communication was great from the start and we would definitely book again!

Nevada City Gem

We had a very nice stay at this rural property. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck and decor. A bit too far to walk to downtown N.C., but only a five-minute drive from good restaurants and interesting shops.

Beautiful property close to downtown Nevada City

The property perfect for our trip. Located close to downtown and beautiful surroundings. Property was nicely furnished with everything we needed. Highly recommend staying there!
