Perfect Rustic Getaway for Family Fun and Relaxation
We loved the rustic charm and peaceful location of this cabin. The kids had a blast riding their bikes and swimming, while we all enjoyed hiking and connecting with nature. Evenings by the fire playing games were a highlight, giving us a chance to unwind and relax. A great spot for a family retreat!
Amazing place to stay and hang out with friends or family. The view of nature is amazing and it’s very close to the National park. Supplied everything we needed throughout our stay. Be able to drive in snow if you go anytime other than summer.
We had a great stay at Peaceful Valley. Great cabin, very comfortable for our family. Beautiful setting with places to walk and a beautiful stream, Very close to the Wild Basin entrance to RMNP and convenient to the Estes Park entrances. Marty is very helpful and a great host. Highly recommend!
Loved every inch of this place!! It was so cute and worked great for our family of adults! Location was beautiful and I look forward to staying again when they get more of it complete!
LOVED this cabin! Seven of us stayed very comfortably. It was all that we hoped for and more: clean, quiet. beautiful location, reasonably priced, and has a great fireplace. The host was very responsive and welcoming. We would definitely come back if we have the opportunity.
We had 4 adults and two teenagers with us and had a wonderful time. Seating was a little cramped when we came back to the cabin in the evening, but we didn't mind. There is a three person couch and two chairs in thebliving room area. The dining room is attached woth plentybof seating at thebtable. Definitely worth the orice, would stay again.
Our family had a wonderful stay. The location and views were spectacular. The manager was so helpful and accommodating. Best of all, we were able to unplug and really enjoy nature. I highly recommend.
We watched a moose from the table one morning! This was the ideal setting for our 3 generation gathering. Our favorite spot was to sit around the fire in the living room. We are already planning to come back!
The location was so beautiful! We loved the hike up the trail next to the cabin. The chapel at the top was worth the treck! The cabin is a bit dated but was clean and the property manager was very responsive to messages. It’s worth noting that there is no Wi-Fi at the cabin and unless you have Verizon you will not have cell reception. Our family enjoyed the technology break!
Our family of six really enjoyed this cozy cabin after having camped at Brainard Lake for a few days. We were able get up to Estes Park in 30 minutes and spend some time there. We also enjoyed hiking to the chapel above the cabin. The cabin was clean and beds were comfortable. The furnishings are a bit dated but we felt that added to the ambiance. Our family likes to cook and would normally prefer a full kitchen, but we were able to make everything we wanted on the gas grill outside or the hot plate inside.
The place is located in an amazing location. Property staff specially Marty was amazing. He welcomed us and gave us very interesting and important details about the area. He was very helpful and I am definitely recommending this place to my friends. Only thing I wish the property had which it did not have was a locking system/mechanism on the bathroom door. It was bit rough with kids, and toddler running around and u are in the toilet. But everything else was great. Loved our stay. Thank you
If you want to step away from high pace, this is perfect for you. We had 4 adults, 2 teens, & 1 infant and we all had extra sleeping room to spare. I would recommend bringing a crockpot or insta-pot for dinners. There is a 2 burner hot plate and no oven. Marty was so friendly and down to earth. He has taken over the property and is restoring it to its prime. There is quite a bit of history for that place. The chapel is a must see, especially at night. If we come back to Colorado, we are coming back there!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
Weekend get away.
Never saw anyone else after getting to the property overall grounds seemed dated and in need of a facelift. That said the property was nice enough, pool/hot tub area was clean and hot tub was a nice temp. The kitchen says cook top, and it’s an electric hot plate which was fine. But seemed like good info to know. Also was only provided a 1/2 roll of TP, and no back up rolls…. So bring you spare roll. Everything was nice enough and as expected. But probably won’t book again, the price was about twice what I would have paid knowing what I know now.
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Peaceful Valley. The cabin was exactly as stated and was very clean. The owner and property manager were prompt with communication as well as extremely kind and attentive.
The double bed is just off the kitchen downstairs and the rest of the beds are upstairs.
Also, as others have mentioned, we also saw the local moose (from afar) and it was amazing. We have some great pictures of it as well.
We would highly recommend choosing this cabin and this area for your stay.
A truly Peaceful stay!
We had a blast staying at Peaceful Valley Ranch! We loved exploring the area and learning about the history of the Stage Coach hub. Hiking, both before and after the 12" of snow fell, was absolutely beautiful. Everyone at the ranch was so accommodating and friendly and we had the perfect Thanksgiving.
Nestled right in the valley, the place was awesome. We saw a moose and baby one morning. The hike up to the chapel was fantastic. Marty was very helpful with points of interest and some great conversations. We will be back sometime in the future!!
Stayed at this property while vacationing for a weekend in the Estes area. Short (30 min approx) drive into Estes. Beautiful scenery, clean and just far enough away to not have lots of traffic while still being easy to find. Would definitely come back!
