Timberline Mountain escape on Gated side with new hot tub

Experience “Almost Heaven" at our Timberline Mountain chalet. Centrally located in the Canaan valley, with the convenience of Timberline Ski Resort, Dolly Sods, Canaan Valley Resort and more!

Discover where the wild ferns grow in the summer or hit the ski slopes at Timberline during the winter season. Enjoy a new hot tub on a private deck and a 3,200 sq ft home with an open but cozy feel.

Old Timberline is a gated community with direct access to Dolly Sods. Escape from reality and enjoy the outdoors and beauty in all seasons of the Canaan Valley!

Our Green Run Chalet has vaulted ceilings and wood burning fireplace. There's a large mudroom to come in from the mountain and drop your gear. The home has a new fire pit and Adirondack chairs for making s'mores and playing yard games (corn hole, frisbee, checkers are included).

Inside there are four bedrooms and a bonus hangout/fifth bedroom. There are two bedrooms on the first floor. One is a king master suite with a full bathroom and private deck.

Adjacent to this is a queen bedroom. There is a half bathroom across from the room. On the upper level, there is another queen bed with its own full bathroom. It has a door for privacy, but also connects to another bedroom with two twin beds. This also has its own full bathroom.

On the other side of this room, is a large bonus room that has two twins and futons.

Additionally, there is a dining room table, a kitchen table, dishwasher, NEW washer and dryer, towels, ceiling fans in bedrooms, plug in fans and the basics.

Kayaking, canoes, and paddle boards are welcome on the lake. Relax in nature with friends and family the entire time or hit the slopes!

This is a gated community so all cars must be registered (driver, car type, arrival/departure date) to access the property. 4-wheel drive, AWD or chains are REQUIRED to access this property from November 1 - April 15th.

Other things to note
Kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Hair dryer is available. Please bring your own firewood and propane for grill. Starter paper towels, TP, soap, are all available as well as coffee k-cups.

Please turn down heat in every room when you exit the property at departure. Garbage must be taken out to the dumpster near gate exit before leaving. Otherwise, there is a $5 fee per bag. There is also a $50 charge for each additional guest each night over 8.
