The Highlights
One of the best features of this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is the location and it's 4 decks to maximize all the incredible views. This second-tier home is perfectly situated across the street from the beach access and just a few houses down from one of the two neighborhood homes making it easy to enjoy all the amenities of Morgantown. The oversized front deck will allow you to make the most of the water views and famous Alabama sunsets. And because fridge space is always at a premium during vacation, you will be delighted to see two full sized refrigerators.
The Space
From the moment you walk through the front door The Grammont; you will know that you are not on just another beach vacation. You have come home to a place that openly embraces the enchantment of the Gulf Coast. The decor of the living and dining area soothing and the furnishings are inviting. A full kitchen awaits you should you choose to prepare simple meals. Or check out the restaurants in the area where you'll find a wide variety of cuisines.
There is a lovely Queen bedroom with full private bath (shower) on the main level. On the second level you'll discover a large, stately primary bedroom with king bed, full bath (tub/shower combo) and balcony access. There is also a cozy chair and ottoman in this room to catch an afternoon nap or maybe a few minutes of quiet time or reading. And you will love this second level balcony! The perfect spot to catch the sunset or star gaze in the evening.
The upper-level bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two twins both have access to the upper, north facing deck. These two rooms share a hall bath (tub/shower combo).

Morgantown and Fort Morgan
Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.
Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.
Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.
Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.
