The space
This is a Studio apartment, 336 sqft, that is located in a 3 family Victorian home built in 1900 but fuly renovated with modern conveniences. Private and shared entrances are available. This Studio is located on the 2nd floor; a 2nd Studio apartment is located downstairs with its own entrances and a 2 bedroom unit makes up the left side of the house and occupies 3 floors. A Staircase separates the studio apartments from the main house providing a nice sound barrier. This Studio has a Kitchenette, full bath, table to eat or work with 2 chairs, Queen size bed with drawers underneath to store your clothing, TV with Roku built in and high speed FIOS internet. Perfect for one person and cozy for two. Large yard with patio furniture to enjoy in the warmer weather. Views of Plymouth harbor especially in winter. About a 7 minute walk to BID Hospital-Plymouth. Less than a mile from downtown Plymouth. Set back from the street so that it is very private and quiet, yet close to everything.

It was very small, ideal for only one person. The bed is very small for two people. Windows need curtains to block out light at night. The driveway is extremely tight, with only room for one car coming in or going out; it's very dangerous at night. There is nothing special about the room, just a place to sleep. It's so small you find yourself not wanting to go back once you are out and about.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the studio may not have been the right fit for your stay, but we would like to clarify a few points for future guests. Our VRBO listing clearly identifies 1620 Bayview as a 336 sq. ft. studio with a queen-size bed and describes it as “perfect for one person and cozy for two.” We also provide 10 interior and 3 exterior photos, along with a detailed description, so guests can have a clear understanding of the space before booking. Both windows have substantial 2-inch plantation-style vinyl blinds. While they may not provide 100% blackout, the windows do have significant coverings. We also sent three messages prior to check-in without receiving a response and were happy to accommodate the guest’s day of request for an early check-in. The shared driveway is narrower, as can be common with a historic 1900 Victorian, but it provides convenient off-street parking. We work hard to accurately represent our property and provide as much information as possible before booking. While a 336 sq. ft. studio may not be the right fit for everyone, its size, queen bed, layout, and amenities are clearly disclosed and photographed. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify these details for future guests.

I'm Antone, I was born and raised in Plymouth. My family is from Soa Miquel in the Azores, Portugal. I have two amazing daughters, Allie, and Jessie. Allie is a Nurse and graduated nursing school in May 2022. Jessie is a CNA and a college student pursuing a marketing degree up in Maine. We love to host medical professionals since we are within walking distance of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. We are less than a 45-minute drive to several local hospitals on Cape Cod, the South Shore, and the South Coast.

I'm Karen, I grew up in a small town about 30 minutes away. I have always loved Plymouth and moved here in 2002 after living in California for about 5 years. I have been to Australia, South America and have traveled around Europe staying in Hostels and B&Bs which has inspired me to want to host others.

We are excited to share this historical town with our guests through our various Plymouth 1620 accommodations. We started hosting on Airbnb in January 2020 and are now excited to be on VRBO as of January 2023. We are always learning from our guests and welcome any suggestions and feedback.
