I was in town with extended family and the house was perfect our group. It was a close walk to lots of shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and each
Such a lovely home!! We had a wonderful time. Christian was an excellent host and very responsive and welcoming. There is a coffee house just up the street that had a perfect porch to sit on. We went to Saint for dinner - delicious. Shopped on St. George street. Went to Cookiebird for Icecream- so good. Brunch at Sunday - yum. Found some treasures at the vintage stores. And we were very happy to be in the cool air conditioning when we returned to the house. This house is a fantastic location with a short walk to St. George one way and to the vintage stores the other. It was perfect!
The house was clean and had alot of character. For being an old house it was in pretty good shape. Loved the location, St George St. within walking distance and a wonderful coffee shop around the corner with yummy pastries. Looked forward to quiet time on the porch in the mornings with my cup of joe.
Back for our second year and it was just as good as the first! This house has become our go-to spot. It’s clean, well-stocked, and the location is unbeatable. The host is fantastic and makes everything easy.
Our recent stay at the Historic Murphy House in St. Augustine was wonderful. The house was gorgeous with modern amenities like Roku TV and a roomy walk-in shower but old-fashioned features such as the GE Hotpoint Automatic stove/ovens and a claw foot tub. I wasn't familiar with St. Augustine when I booked the house, and my primary goal was to find a place that would sleep six comfortably (we actually started with eight, but two of our group were unable to go). We couldn't have asked for a better location; we were within walking distance from so many of the places we wanted to see, so the house was perfectly situated for the everything we did. This was a trip for the ladies in our family, but I've already told my husband that it would be great for us to go back because I think he'd love it down there. Hopefully, the Murphy House will be available when we decide to go!
Amazing stay!!! The house totally fit the historic vibe of the city! And the host was fantastic. So responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property!!!!
We came for a girls birthday weekend and had an amazing time! This home was perfectly located across from an excellent coffee shop, Juniper Cafe. Highly recommend it!The home was clean and so cool with old features and decor. The size was perfect for 5 people to each have their own bed. No one in our group wanted to share a bed! The location of this home made this the perfect getaway! We could walk to the Fort and shopping/restaurant areas. Would definitely stay here again! Host was quick to respond to my little questions and accommodating to my requests. Thanks for an amazing weekend!
We loved our stay. The house was clean and well equipped. Close to downtown and all the attractions. I recommend if you want to enjoy the beautiful city of St. Augustine!
Great stay near downtown St Augustine. Everything is within walking distance, even with small children. Comfortable beds and was enough to fit 2 families (7 people). Easy check in and checkout. Not too far of a drive to come sights, Alligator farm, Lighthouse and the Beach. Super close to the fort as well-perfect for the 4th of July stay.
