Unit #1
This space is located above the garage. You can access it by going up the stairs at the back of the garage. You will enter into a modern yet comfortable space. You will see a fully equipped kitchen to the right with a large pantry to store all the food you need for the trip.
Directly ahead is a beautiful dining table with a natural wood edge and beautiful views from 4 large windows. To the left of the table is a comfortable sitting area with a smart TV and a large fold out couch with extra bedding in the chaise.
Turning around you enter the stylish bathroom equipped with body wash, shampoo, conditioner and all the towels you will need for your family on this trip. Going through the pocket door you enter the cozy bedroom with an impossibly comfortable king bed. A long road trip has taken its toll but the comfort of this bed will take all of the tension away.
Game Room
In the garage we have brought together all of the games and entertainment you and your party will need for your stay. A large smart TV for watching movies together, a foosball table, a fridge to keep drinks cool, a shelf full of board games, regulation dart board set up, guitar for bonfire tunes, chess and checkers, snow shoes for the winter months, corn hole and folding tables and chairs to make sure everyone can be accommodated. Be aware that this area is shared with another unit. Please be courteous and respectful and honor quiet hours for the property.
Outdoor Spaces
There are 3 outdoor spaces on the property. The spaces are labelled 1-3. You have access to space #1 as well as the hot tub deck.
There is a set of stairs from the terrace to the right of the garage that leads to a secluded off grid hot tub for 2. No chlorine! It also doubles as a cold plunge, which is perfect on a hot afternoon after a morning hike. Spend an evening with that special someone in a secluded grove of trees while you bask in the rich warmth of wood heated water. Smell the fire and hear it crack as you look up at some of the best skies in the country for stargazing. This will be an unforgettable experience! Please consult the guide to make sure you have no issues with the wood heated hot tub.
Space #1 is up rail road tie stairs that lead to a graveled area with a fire pit and comfortable Adirondack chairs. There is also a table with seating for 4.
You will have access to the living spaces, parking and outdoor spaces labelled with 1 on the property. You will not have access to the garage interior or anything labelled 2 or 3.
Woodfire Hot tub
2025 Update: We are very excited for the woodfire hot tub to be available! Freezing temperatures, especially at night, can cause damage to the equipment. Based on the weather estimates this year, we expect for the Hot tub to be in use starting in the latter half of April. Let us know if you have any questions.
Listing Access
You will have access to all of the living spaces and outdoor spaces of the property.
Our property is 11.25 acres and the property line goes from the gravel pit of the cabin below up to about 20 feet before the powerlines. From the road you can head back into the hills and the woods until the fence that lines the back of the property. There is an outdoor dining set at the top of one of our hills that you can enjoy lunch on. If you can find it!
Please refer to the property map in the listing photos and give any other cabins or neighbors courtesy if you decide to explore.
Keep an eye out for cool rocks or even arrowheads if you are lucky.
Listing Interaction
We manage the property remotely. We are very responsive and are ready to help you with any issues that may come up.
Listing Neighborhood Overview
We are located in a secluded tight-knit cabin community right in the middle of Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. It is perfect if you want to see one or both of these parks. You will love the clear mountain air and the gorgeous stars in our little neck of the woods.
We are the 2nd cabin property on the left after turning onto Oak Ridge Road.
Listing Transit
You will have 2 parking spots. If you need more, please reach out and we can give you directions to an overflow parking area on the property.
Listing Notes
The cabin is on a dirt road that has snow removal if the snow gets too deep, however there can be some muddy spots and depending on weather, snow removal can be delayed. If there are any weather issues, we will keep you posted and make sure that your trip will go as smoothly as possible.
The listing is available all year around, however if you come up between late October and early March accessing the property could require all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. We also recommend chains and winter tires during snow and ice season. During the transition from winter to spring, mud should be a consideration for driving to our cabin. We do not recommend anything low clearance during the muddy season. 4 Wheel or All wheel drive is essential during this time. If you need assistance on the road and get stuck (which rarely happens) we do have contacts in the area that can help you out. If you attempt to make it to the cabin without the proper vehicle and fail to arrive you may not be issued a refund. We recommend that you have the proper equipment to make it up a dirt road in the winter. We are not liable for any towing fees or damage to your vehicle in attempting to gain access to the property.
If using "Maps" or similar software to find your way to our cabin, be sure that the path you are taking guides you from US-89 to Lutherwood Rd, across the street from Tod's junction. You will follow W Lutherwood Rd until it forks to N Oak Ridge Rd, taking the uphill road to the cabins
The Hot tub may not be available from the month of September until March or April depending on weather.
We love accommodating pets and think that southern Utah is best with our four-legged companions. To maintain a quality stay for our guests and their pets, we charge an additional $100 for additional cleaning and potential wear and tear. Please be sure to add your pets in the number of guests you will have in your booking.
We stock firewood at our cabins. To make sure that we can continue to stock firewood we charge a small fee for its use. $15 per night of use to get access to the wood pile. Let us know if you have any questions.
We charge $20 for early check in and check out. Dependent on availability.
