Property was nice! Lots of rooms and bed options, kitchen met our basic cooking needs, grill worked, but could use an upgrade. It was a great place for us to relax outside the noise of busy New Orleans.
Beds were comfortable, accommodating for group size, however we saw a few roaches.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in our home and it met your needs. I would like to apologize for your experience with having seen a couple of roaches in the home. While we regularly have the home services by an exterminator some times those buggers make their way in the home. I really appreciate you letting us know and we are sending out the exterminator for an unscheduled visit to make sure everything is ready for the next guest. These southern bugs are resilient little guys but we will take care of them for you all.
We had a great experience over NYE weekend, with 8 adults and 7 kids ages 10-15. There was plenty of room for all! The house appears to have been recently renovated. There’s a huge fenced yard for kids to play and nice outdoor spaces for adults as well. It was perfect for a large group.

Thank you for the kind words Lisa! It was a pleasure hosting you and your group is welcome back at any time.
We had an amazing experience at this property! The property itself is exactly as described. There is a lot of room. The space and the beds are comfortable, and the beach is within walking distance. Our favorite spot was the back porch where we had a blast eating, telling stories, laughing, and playing board games. The experience was topped off with the wonderful host who went way out of the way to help us make this trip successful! I highly recommend this property to you.
The house is huge plenty of room for everyone. The loction makes for easy travel to Biloxi or New Orleans. You will be traveling there as is not much to do in Waveland, but like a said if you are not afraid of a 45 min or so road trip to do things its fine. The back yard is huge and driveway has plenty of space for multiple cars. Beds are comfy, rooms are spacious. And house was clean.
A few things to think about.
1. The pots and pans are small if you are planning to have big family dinners like we do bring your own pots or crockpot. (We bought a big spaghetti pot at walmart)
2. There are no dressers or chests in any bedroom only hanging closets.
3. The dinner room table only sits 6 with 5 bars stools. There is an outside table that is spacious but summer in Mississippi makes it unuable. You will have to eat in shifts.
4. If you are traveling with young kids that will be using the bunk room. Its in the basement or lower level, there is a king room next to it just something to think about if you are using the bunk room for young kids. We had young adults so it didnt matter to us. (Basement 1 bunk room, 1 king, 1 double. Main level 1 king, 2 queens, 1 double room)
5. This could be on us but the thermostat kept kicking the air off going to 75 or 80. We would have to get up in the middle of the night and turn the air back on or when we got back from somewhere it would steaming hot and we would have to cool the house down again. Seemed like it was programmed to it.
