About this property

Woodland Retreat by Jerny Destinations

Welcome to our centrally located cabin in the Grand Circle. The perfect staging area to explore Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks, Duck Creek OHV trails and Brian Head.

Secluded on 11 acres with 2 separate living spaces, you will have all the space you need to bring the whole family and all of the toys. 2 king beds, Starlink Internet and smart TV's guarantee that you will stay in comfort.

Come enjoy our mountain retreat!

We love accommodating pets and think that southern Utah is best with our four-legged companions. To maintain a quality stay for our guests and their pets, we charge an additional $100 for additional cleaning and potential wear and tear. Please be sure to add your pets in the number of guests you will have in your booking.

The property is broken up into 2 living spaces that you will have complete access to and have been labelled for your convenience.

Unit #2
This space is the main floor of the log cabin. You will be surprised as you enter by the modern finishes combined with cabin charm in this classic wood cabin. This isn’t your grandmother’s second hand cabin furniture.

The first thing you will see is the dining table and fully equipped kitchen. A perfect place to prepare meals during your stay and save time and money by not needing to eat out. The leather couch in the sitting area folds out to accommodate two of your party. Passing the couch you will see a large cabinet that is stocked with all of the linens you will need for the trip.

To the left is a bathroom stocked with all of your bathing essentials. To the right of the bathroom is a ladder (be careful while climbing) that leads to the loft. As you climb up you will feel the charm of cabin life as you become surrounded by natural woods bathed in the light of the 2nd story windows. A full bed and a queen bed greet you along with night stands and cube compartments for storage.

Going back down the ladder you enter the last door of the space. Can you say comfort? A lowered king bed with white linens and tasteful accent décor compliment the wooden logs that line the room. Snow storms could be raging and summer heat could be beating down but you know that you will be comfortable in this room year round.

Unit #3
Head downstairs from Unit #2 and you will come to the entrance of Unit #3. This space is perfect for a couple to escape from the rest of the group. Polished floors and quality furniture fill the room. To the left is a fold out chair that can sleep 1 and a large lowered king that invites you to have some quick shut eye after a long drive.

A small but well equipped kitchen will allow you to make any meal and the additional stove will help to feed the rest of the party. Past the kitchen is a stocked bathroom and a laundry room.

Outdoor Spaces:

There are 2 outdoor spaces on the property. The spaces are labelled 2 and 3.

You will have access to outdoor space #2 which starts between the garage and the cabin and continues to the back of the cabin. Be sure to plug in the string lights at night to experience wonderful evenings with friends and family around the campfire. Enjoy the fire pit surrounded by comfy Adirondack chairs!

Space #3 is located in front of the entrance of Unit #3. A table and chairs are there as well as another fire pit with more Adirondack chairs.

You will have access to all of the living spaces, parking and outdoor spaces labelled with 2 or 3 of the property. You will not have access to the garage interior or anything labelled 1.

Our property is 11.25 acres and the property line goes from the gravel pit of the cabin below up to about 20 feet before the powerlines. From the road you can head back into the hills and the woods until the fence that lines the back of the property. There is an outdoor dining set at the top of one of our hills that you can enjoy lunch on. If you can find it!

Please refer to the property map in the listing photos and give any other cabins or neighbors courtesy if you decide to explore.

Keep an eye out for cool rocks or even arrowheads if you are lucky.

We manage the property remotely. However, we have resources nearby to help you if needed.

We are located in a secluded cabin community just East of Todd's Junction. You will love the clear mountain air and the gorgeous stars in our little neck of the woods.

You will have 6 parking spots. If you need more, please reach out and we can give you directions to an overflow parking area on the property.

The cabin is on a dirt road that has snow removal if the snow gets too deep, however there can be some muddy spots and snow removal isn't always guaranteed before our guests arrive in the winter.

The listing is available all year around, however if you come up between mid October and early March accessing the property could require all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. We also recommend chains and winter tires.

If using "Maps" or similar software to find your way to our cabin, be sure that the path you are taking guides you from US-89 to Lutherwood Rd, across the street from Tod's junction. You will follow W Lutherwood Rd until it forks to N Oak Ridge Rd, taking the uphill road to the cabins
We recommend that you have the proper equipment to make it up a dirt road in the winter. We are not liable for any towing fees or damage to your vehicle in attempting to gain access to the property.

If you do get stuck please reach out and we can help contact people in the area that may be able to assist you but wait times could be several hours so please come prepared.

There may be other people staying in Unit #1 and using #1 outdoor space. Please be courteous to them and obey the sound guidelines contained in the listing rules.

The main cabin can sleep 8 people, however this is not a large interior space and some groups may find this a bit tight.

We welcome pets! To maintain a high level of cleanliness, we charge a $100 dollar pet fee. Thank you for your understanding.

Perfect place for a family
Cabin was adorable, clean and perfect space for our family. A tiny bit off the beaten path on dirt road but well worth it. We lived it.

Recharge and explore!
This cabin is a gem in the middle of a gorgeous area. Located nearly in the middle of Zion and Bryce, Cedar Breaks, Brian Head and not too far from Kanab. It was the perfect place to have a quiet meal in the morning before exploring and upon arriving “home” at night. Nicely appointed, neat, clean and cozy. We WILL be back!!!
