Rise and shine to catch the stunning sunrise overlooking Lake Erie from your bed. You have 4 beautiful decks you can choose from. There are tv's in every room, and a bonus tv area in upstairs. Huge kitchen fully equip with everything you need to prepare daily meals. Extra large island to eat, play games and conversate for hours.
Start up shopping is available. You send me a short list of groceries to me I do your shopping before you arrive. You will then reimburse Dorothy & Barry for the amount spent.

Mayfly celebration on Lake Erie marks the beginning of Summer and typically runs May - July. You never know how long they'll stay to visit or how many will show up for the party.
The most important thing to know about mayflies is that while they look like a moth with a tail, they do NOT bite or sting. They tickle like a butterfly if they land on you but they can NOT hurt you.
Our outside is wiped down the day of arrival of spiderwebs and spiders, with this being said the summer does attract spiders and bugs. We do regular sprays to help with keeping them under control, just know you may encounter spiders and it webs.
NEVER walk on the ice unless you have confirmed with local authorities that it is safe to walk on the ice. We are NOT authorities in ice safety.

Very restful and peaceful had Easter with the family from in town everything that we needed was there was very nice. This was the perfect place for a girls weekend! We were close enough to stores and restaurants yet off the beaten path to feel like we were away from it all. We did a river cruise Friday night on the Maumee and a delicious dinner at Webber’s Saturday night. The rest of the time we hung out around the huge kitchen island or on the beautiful deck enjoying the view. The stairs do creek so don’t plan to sneak in and there is only one bathroom, but otherwise it is absolutely perfect!

Bachelorette Weekend

Had a bachelorette weekend for one of my friends and this was an amazing place to have it. The house was beautiful and even though it rained and was cloudy for the majority of our trip, we still enjoyed the outside space when we could. There was enough space for 7 of us and didn’t feel too crowded either. Definitely hope to spend more staycation weekends here in the future!

The cottage had everything we needed. The water view is beautiful, ant the sunrise! The bathroom is a little tight and doesn’t have any counter space, so hanging toiletry bags were a must for us. We had a very nice stay.
