we got there and our car barely made it up the washed out driveway, then there was roaches in the kitchen and the basement, the hot tub was insanely dirty for a rental that supposedly gets "cleaned", the washer leaks water, the shower head in one of the bathroom sprays water everywheres but out the shower head,
We really enjoyed our week at this home. The house is close to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and the National parkway. Grocery store is just a few minutes away. The home felt very private. We had a fire almost every night and used the barbeque to cook a few times. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy as well. Just a great place to relax and enjoy your family and friends.
We had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean and pictures were spot-on. Our group consisted of grandparents, parents and two children age 8 and 5. Close to everything we wanted to do. No lake access at the cabin but that was not advertised that there would be so that was fine. My only suggestion would be to add a couple more baking pan options. A sheet pan or two and a 9x13 pan would have been great. We did go buy some aluminum pans. Otherwise, awesome time!
The cabin is great. It had everything we needed except extra sheets for the pull out sofas but the cleaning lady brought them right over. The only negative was the towels and sheets smelled a bit like smoke. Maybe the cleaning service person smokes. The house smelled fine. We also left something and the manager got the service to mail it out the next day. That was a blessing!
We had a great time with the family. The beds are incorrect on the site however. Unless you have small toddlers they won't be able to use the 1 bunk bed as it's to tall. There is also only 1 king size bed in the master. The only draw back we had is it was extremely cold and the heater couldn't keep up. The host was great though and very understanding and had maintenance bring us some wood and firestarter for the fireplace. We had a great time and loved the cabin.
There were 8 adults and a baby. We were very comfortable. The bedrooms are roomy and the beds are comfortable. Gameroom was wonderful for our 2 teenagers. They basically had the run of the downstairs with the bunk beds and games.
Baby crawled all over and we didn't have to worry about stairs, etc. Back porch had several swings and rocking chairs. Even a baby swing which he loved!
We also brought our large dog who could run in the woods around the house. It still didn't feel crowded with him inside.
We felt very safe and it was very quiet. But was close to Pigeon Forge or anything else we might have wanted (food, etc).
I would highly recommend the property!
Toilet didn’t work downstairs and maintenance knew about it and did nothing someone tried breaking n my car there was only one roll of toilet paper and spider webs everywhere n the home

Fun family vacation
This cabin was nice ,but definitely not our favorite. We have stayed in many cabins and chalets in the Smokies.
The amenities listed were definitely not there. The hot tub smells of mold. The outlets in bathrooms don’t work. Internet and TVs were difficult to operate. Every single door was difficult to shut and open. The driveway is gravel , very steep and needs work. We had difficulty making it up the drive.
Overall, the cabin is decorated nice and had enough room for 7 people. We enjoyed our stay here , but would not rent this one again unless it had major improvements.

Dirty, unkept, and unsafe.
The reason I rented this location was for a family gathering, and we specifically wanted a hot tub. On arrival, we noticed the hot tub was in fact dirty with the cover half way open. The host got back to me promptly, and had the keepers come drain it and clean it, and we were told that this is a common issue because of the neighbors. okay... we were informed there isn't any cameras working on the property.
Second, the (gravel) driveway, that we had to share with another property, had such bad pot holes it made 2 of our 3 cars bottom out.
The boards on the front, top level porch looked like they've just been replaced but some bow when I (120lbs.) would walk across the porch. I felt unsafe, like I needed to calculate my steps.
All 3 porches were covered in spider webs and cob webs, we had to clean all the furniture off just to sit on it.
There were charging outlets that didn't work that were put next to the bed so the next morning we had dead phones.
Also, no wifi at this location. Which is pretty surprising and inconvenient.
Overall, just a bunch of super inconvenient stuff that builds up. We had a great time with each other, but the only way I could've made this trip better for my family was choosing a different rental.
Overall great stay! The house doesn't have great views, although it was lovely. It does have an owl and a hawk that fly by the back deck each morning. There's a very large black dog that shows up every day.(???) Garbage is not picked up at all during your stay. The electrical plugs in the bathrooms don't work, plan on blow drying your hair some place else. Make sure you have four wheel drive, the driveway and the road up to the house are tough. Roller coaster! The thermostat on the hot tub isn't accurate... The WiFi doesn't work at all, If multiple people are trying to use it at the same time. We figured out the TV's after a few days but with WiFi issue, it's probably not worth the time.... The house is 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge and at least 45 minutes from Gatlinburg. Let's just say it takes about 15 minutes, to get back to civilization. lol! So the house/ cabin is lovely, not as big as the pics make it look. All the doors in the house stick, so you have to slam them, which makes it difficult to enjoy your stay if anyone in your party is sleeping and you'd like to stay up a while. There's no outdoor lighting/spot lights ...although there is one located on the wall inside the second bedroom. apparently this house has undergone renovations and it looks like they may be still working on a few things. Stains on mattress in master bedroom. ewww! Top bunk of the bunk beds is a definite NO! Two pull out couches face each other. Not enough room to use both. Still a nice vaca!
