Great place for atv riders

The property is fixed up and was clean. No issues with our stay. The area is remote but perfect for hitting the trails. We would recommend for those in the area for trail riding.

The house was fine for the purpose however there were some concerns. First off we ate in. There is limited kitchen supplies. Only 4 plates, no large skillets or liquid pitchers. No knives other than a stake knife and 3 can openers that don’t work. Of great concern is all the scrap metal in the roadway and yard. Large bolts, pins, and jogged metal pieces everywhere. The homestead appears to be built on an old junk yard. We continue to hope our vehicles are free of punctures. Owners were quick to answer questions and facilitate any needs. The scrap would be our only reason for not utilizing the house in the future.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location is very close to the trails, basically right on Devil Anse Trail 31 and 135, which was very convenient. The only issue we had was the number of bugs, mostly ants. I understand the property is in the woods, but it seemed like there were efforts being made to control them that just weren’t working well. The Wi-Fi was also very slow — enough for about one phone to check email or make a basic phone call, but not much more. Also, there was no T-Mobile service at all.Other than that, it was a good stay and the trail access was excellent.
