About this property
Comfy cabin for two close to Grand Canyon and many Northern Arizona attractions
Now with WiFi! Yea! This comfy real log cabin is conveniently located in the country 11 miles from Williams and 45 miles from the Grand Canyon. The elevation is 6589 ft above sea level!
From the front porch you can look across the valley at Bill Williams Mountain 11 miles away. Located just feet from the Kaibab National Forest there are many furry visitors including, elk, deer, bobcat, coyotes and more. At night the stars are brilliant in the night sky. When the moon is full you can almost count the craters on its surface.
The main room has a nice sitting area and kitchen area. There is a small refrigerator, electric stove with oven, microwave, and coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar for your convenience. Enjoy your meal inside or sitting on the porch, either on the two persons swing or bistro area.
The cabin sleeps two comfortably on a queen size mattress in a second room with the bathroom and shower adjacent. With comfy sheets, fluffy comforter and extra blankets you will be warm and cozy.
After a long day of visiting and hiking the Grand Canyon, Williams or Sedona, relax and review your day by playing chess, checkers or one of the many other games provided. There is no television.
Located on Route 66, nearby historic Williams has a Safeway grocery store, many restaurants, breweries, and shopping. Great places to visit while you are here is Bearizona, Canyon Coaster Park, Grand Canyon Railway with the very special Polar Express in the Winter, Grand Canyon Deer Park, Route 66 Zipline, and local lakes to name a few. For the golf enthusiast there is 18-hole Elephant Rocks Golf Course. The view alone from hole 18 is amazing. Also, located in Williams is North Country Health Care if needed.
There is good cell reception in this area.

About the host
Hosted by Deborah Palm
I have lived in Williams for 33 years, almost a native by some standards. My home and cabin are 11 miles north of Williams set on 20-acres, right up against the Kaibab National Forest. I love watching the wildlife that visit throughout the year. I have two ravens (ravens' mate for life) that hang out and raise a new batch of young every year.
I am also a baker. Biscotti is my specialty. My banana bread, scones, biscuits, muffins and cookies are very good too. It would be nice to meet you and swap stories. We all have a lot to share in this life of ours.
