This cabin was roomy and cozy and offered plenty of space to separate teenage siblings :) The area is quiet and peaceful. I initially had trouble connecting to the wifi and the listing company was super helpful in troubleshooting and offering solutions. The wrap around porch is a great place to relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The host was very responsive and friendly. The kitchen is very well equipped, which was a plus because we cook a lot. The beds were very comfortable and the furnishings are beautiful. It's 6 minutes to App State, which was another plus for us. The hot tub and jet bathtub was very nice. We are in the area very often and will definitely book for our next stay.

The house is beautiful and good for a young family. However, for my 73 husband and 71 yo self it was hard to go up and down the steps. Also, the property was not clean and I spent one day just trying to clean to make sure where I prepped food, where I bathed, and where we ate lour meals was clean. Some of the dishes had not been cleaned from a previous guest, and I had to clean them in order to use them. There was no bar or handle in the shower for someone elderly to use to stabilize their balance themselves and they can easily be purchased and put in place with suction cups. The fireplace only has one setting and if you leave it on more than 30 minutes, the temperature goes up to almost 90 in the living room and bedroom. I rarely leave a bad review on anything, but this is an unhappy experience and I want others to know what we found. I would not recommend this property to anyone who has difficulty with balance issues or disorders that make them unable to climb stairs.

The cabin was wonderful, cozy and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. It accommodated our family well. The hosts were awesome ,nice and fast to respond! We are from Florida and were worried about the road driving up to the cabin, it wasn’t too bad, not sure if you could drive in it with heavy snow though. The fireplace did quit working the last few days of our stay, we didn’t let it ruin our time! We would definitely stay again!!!

Family Vacation

My family and I had a random idea to take a 5 day vacation and found this home. Our stay was fantastic, if I had a question they answered quickly! I think the cabin was exactly how they explained it would be and the beds were comfortable, I would definitely stay again.

Great location, perfect size house!

House was in a great, convenient location to Boone. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, blankets, etc. Appreciated the fact that they allowed dogs. We had some minor issues with the hot tub, but the management company quickly came out to address the issue. Overall a great stay and our group had a ton of fun!

House was as advertised. We had a nice time at the cabin and it was centrally located to a lot of attractions. No checkout instructions were provided.

Perfect location

It was a perfect location for visiting Boone, Blowing Rock and App State. The drive to the house is one I would not attempt in the snow but summer was a breeze. We saw deer every day. I believe pictures displayed a vew of the mountains and I feel that is a picture from the Fall or Winter as we saw only beautiful green trees only and no mountains. Thank you!

Cabin was nice but there was a strong gas smell in the house. Property manager came out and said it was ok but it was still concerning to us but we lived and didn't blow the house up or die of CO2 posioning. Also, the hot tub was cold when we arrived so we were never able to use it.
