Kick off your shoes and enjoy the view and wildlife watching from the shores of Lake Rousseau in this cozy 2BR/1BA oasis. Boat ramp is 1 mile away-from here it's a short ride to the Gulf, or to get out on the Lake Roussea. There are 2 kayaks, bicycles and fishing poles ready for new adventures. Grill or smoke your catch of the day on the back patio and take in the sunset. Check out the manatees and float the local crystal clear rivers and all the great restaurants in the Crystal River/Dunnellon area. Salt and fresh water boat ramps are 1 mile away. 30 minute boat ride to Rainbow River and 30 minute boat ride to Crystal Bay. The house is pet friendly but there is no fenced in yard.

Home was clean, easy check in and out process. Close to lots of tours, state parks, manatees, restaurants. House had pack and play and high chair which made my life easier! House would be pet friendly and I would bring my dog with us next time.

Simple clean quiet place to stay. All the comforts of home. Host was amazing with communication and very pleasant to deal with. Would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t need an expensive luxury place on the water to just get away for a few days.

Birthday Getaway

This was a great lil weekend getaway place. Located right by Inglis dam, we did some dock fishing and walked our two dogs in a beautiful scenic spot and even got to see some manatees in the water. The house was very comfortable and updated with smart electronics and the bed was a posturepedic mattress equipped with massage even. Very clean and was perfect for just us two who wanted to have a low key birthday getaway with our dogs. Would stay here again!

Peaceful stay

This was a peaceful fishing trip for my dad :) There's a little group of gators in the back, so it's hard to fish right out side, but he had a boat and was able to go anywhere around to fish.

Outstanding home with beautiful sunsets over a beautiful lake. The home owners are wonderful and were there whenever I needed anything. Would do it all again if I could.

great place but be informed of conservations

Great sunset, comfortable beds and house, keep pets on a leash from the natural wildlife. Quiet and lovely nights. Would return for quick access to rainbow river. Make sure you read the ordinance: No single use plastic containers in park or it is a criminal day in Marion County Courthouse.

Very disappointing

This house is old and in need of repairs. Kitchen appliances are newer but the sink drain leaked, and the cabinet floor was wet the whole time and the floor is peeling and needs replaced. The bathroom is in horrible condition - rusted tub and lots of mold. There was no patio furniture as described, only some bag chairs in a pile outside, a rusty bicycle, the dock had rotted boards and wasn't safe. There is a washer and dryer but they are outdoors in a separate closet, no place to put your detergent. The house was not what I consider clean, inside and outside were very dirty. I left it cleaner than I found it. Trash was left on the patio so I picked that up some of that. If we could have gotten a refund for our 3 months we would have left upon arrival. For the very high amount we paid, we expected a much nicer place. We would not stay there again. bathroom

We did come over to fix the kitchen sink and I didn’t realize that it was still leaking until you let me know at the end of your stay. There is no mold in the house and it was clean at check-in, as my cleaner always sends me pictures. I know you didn’t like the location of the house because there’s no social activities going on around there compared to the place that you normally stay. I’m sorry that you didn’t like the house, the furnishings or the lake. It’s not a brand new home, but it is adorable! We did reglaze the bathtub after you left and there is one plank on the kitchen floor that needs replaced, which is under the kitchen rug. Had I known you wanted to leave all you had to do was let me know and I would’ve been happy to accommodate you. I had no idea how unhappy you were until I read this review. I was not told about any trash on the back porch and the patio furnishings were exactly as pictured in the listing. You told me that the bicycle was rusty, and I offered to bring you a new one, but you said you didn’t need one and hadn’t ridden in years. I hope you find future stays where you are happier.
