Quiet, within-residential-neighborhood single level house fantastic for visiting researcher, visiting hospital professional, or any one or two adults needing a well-appointed space for a short-term, peaceful, or extended stay.
Comfortable, stylish living room with flat screen tv, wifi, seating, shelves, coffee table.
One queen bedroom with closet and bureau, one single bedroom with closet, bureau, and desk.
Full bathroom featuring walk in tile shower with on demand hot water (won’t run out of hot water!). In-bathroom washer/dryer.
Kitchen with open dining room with seating for six, large windows for sunny view of backyard. Dishwasher, microwave, keurig, french press, bean grinder, drip pot, electric hot water pot — take your choice to make your coffee!
Private backyard good for bird watching.
Driveway for single vehicle off-street parking.
Be aware there is NO basement and NO garage access. These spaces are locked off for owner storage.

This home is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with every gadget and tool you would need. There is also a lovely grill in the backyard that works very well. The location is perfect for us as it's close to the concert venue as well as many other places. We will always stay here if we can.

Perfect location to explore Bangor

This is our third annual girls shopping trip and we are happy we found this little gem. Loved walking around this neighbourhood, found the European farmers market at Ingrid's German shop and nursery. Met some lovely locals there and brought some great food home to New Brunswick. Would happily stay here again

House in quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay in Bangor in Little Vernon. The house has a backyard grill which we made good use of. Laurel was quick to answer our questions. We would stay here again.

What a gem! Cute cottage right in the heart of Bangor! Very walkable. House has everything you need. Highly recommend Cole Museum of Maine Transportation-very nostalgic and interesting. Took day trip to Stonington for lobster rolls. And walked the Orono Bog Boardwalk . Ate at Bagel Central and Jade Oriental-both excellent! Thank you Laurel for making our visit to Bangor so enjoyable.

Home Away from Home

Our stay at this Vrbo in Bangor was first rate from beginning to end. The house is located in a very nice residential area, and was perfect for our needs. Everything was clean, the beds and furniture were comfortable, the kitchen had all the appliances we needed (and the local grocery store is only 5 minutes away), the temperature control was easily managed, the bathroom was updated, and the location is only a few minutes from everywhere in town. Our hostess was very accessible and helpful, and gave us good information whenever we needed it. We will absolutely be back here for our next visit to Bangor!

Great stay, can’t wait to return.

We just wrapped up an amazing trip to Bangor. Many thanks to our host at Little Vernon. The house was very cozy and reminded me of my grandmother’s house, complete with a full candy dish on the mantle. We loved looking at the repurposed treasures around the house. The renovated bathroom is beautiful!! The eating area with all the windows gave us a beautiful view of the birds and squirrels. The bedrooms were a great size, the queen mattress was extra firm which was perfect for me, my husband struggled but found the couch a suitable substitute. Our son loved the lobster room and used the desk each day to stay up on his studies. With our oldest son and grandchildren living in Bangor we are sure to be back, and hope the house will be available when we return. Regarding the area, there were several grocery stores and restaurants really close. We especially enjoyed Angelo’s, for both pizza and grinders, at the end of Vernon St on Hammond St.

This was perfect for us. We were visiting family and it was nice to be able to meet and be able to cook meals together. The house was clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed which was great.

We had a wonderful quick stay while attending a concert at the Maine Savings Amphitheatre. Everything was wonderful. We traveled with a small dog and it was great to have such a nice place to stay. We had a wonderful stay! The house is adorable with plenty of space and fun, interesting decor. It is nicely furnished with a wonderful fenced in back yard. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotless clean. Communication was excellent and check in was simple. We attended a concert and walked to the pavilion. It was an enjoyable walk down and an uphill walk back - it worked well and we avoided trying to find transportation in the crowd of people.
