Enjoy your family vacation in this 4 bedroom/4 bath Black Bear Condo located on the mountain in Mt. Crested Butte. This condo features 2 balconies providing panoramic views of Mt. Crested Butte and the down-valley spectacle of the Town of Crested Butte and its backdrop of mountain ranges. Just a short walk across the street gets you to the West Wall Quad chair lift serving beginner and advanced runs. Experience this easy access to the entire mountain and the ski vacation of a lifetime! During the summer months listen to live music (free on Wednesdays) after an exciting day of hiking, biking, or just wandering through open meadows of alpine wildflowers in the Wildflower Capital of Colorado. This 4 bedroom condo has 2 master suites equipped with king beds and private baths including walk-in showers and jetted tubs. Each of the 2 additional bedrooms are equipped with 1 queen bed each. Each of these rooms have hallway bathrooms with a walk-in shower. The perfect set up for 2 families vacationing together! Create amazing meals in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen accented with granite counter tops. Loaded with amenities, this unit features a gas fireplace, 3 televisions, 1 DVD player, stacked washer/dryer and complimentary Wi-Fi. An outdoor common area is complete with hot tub, gas grill and patio seating, perfect for après ski or summer grilling. *****(Please note: the outdoor hot tub and gas grill deck will be closed 9/9/24 - 9/13/24 & 9/16/24-9/24/24).***** If inclement weather arrives, move inside to the comfortable and spacious lobby area with a 52' flat screen HD TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. The ski locker room is adjacent to the lobby allowing plenty of ski and boot storage in the winter. The lobby is secured for Black Bear guests. Enjoy the convenience of our reserved parking spaces in the lower level heated garage just steps from the elevator. Complimentary luggage carts are available for your use when loading and unloading your vehicle. Hop onto the free Condo Loop Shuttle just outside the Black Bear Lodge complex, which takes you to the main transit center where you can explore the unique base area shops and restaurants or connect with the free shuttle into the historic town of Crested Butte.

Great place for extended family

Great place to gather two couples and kiddos. Location is great. I do wish there was a better dining area setup but the huge bedrooms sure were nice!! Hoping to stay again soon.

Came to stay with some friends for a long weekend and had the most amazing stay. The place is extremely spacious, very clean, and had everything you need to stay for a longer trip. Would absolutely recommend.

We had a great stay at Black Bear Lodge. It is super close to the base of the mountain. Great access, great parking. The views out the sliding doors are beautiful. The hosts did a great job communicating as well. Highly recommend.

Awesome Vacation

This property is wonderful, 2 King bedrooms both with full bathrooms and 2 Queen rooms with their on bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need. Very short walk to the Ski Lifts. Will definitely stay here again!

Great location, clean, all the things you could ask for. Perfect spot to watch the fireworks. Spotted deer and elk every morning with my Binoculars from the balcony. Owners left a sweet gift bag, too!

Perfect place for a summer stay in Crested Butte

Lovely, spacious condo...perfect place for our family to stay while enjoying the hiking, fishing, and beautiful wildflowers in the Crested Butte area. The unit was well stocked and super clean. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the views from the porches. Washer and dryer in unit and parking beneath the building are additional pluses. We would definitely stay again!

Nice place and great location

This is the second time we stayed in this unit at Black Bear Lodge for a long ski weekend. The interior is clean and well laid out, the owners are very responsive and the location is hard to beat, as it's a very short walk to the lifts. The heated garage parking and luggage carts are an added bonus, making loading and unloading your stuff much more pleasant than outdoor parking.

Girls Ski Trip

Black Bear Lodge was perfect for our annual ski trip. The condo was beautiful and had a perfect layout. Each bedroom with its own bathroom was great. Very comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. The easy walk to the lift made this very close to a ski in-ski out. Free bus pick up right outside the front door was so convenient. We would highly recommend this place!

We keep coming back

We love staying at this property. We do an annual ski trip alternating between Crested Butte and Steamboat, and we’ve stayed here four times. The layout is great for us and the access to the slopes can’t be beat. The hot tub is an important feature too! We can also easily get to town and other activities, like snow shoeing and Xcountry. Love it!

Great Stay!

This is a very well stocked condo! Layout is also great with each bedroom having a bathroom. Living area might be a bit small if you had 8 adults, but who stays inside when you are in Colorado?? The location to the west wall lift was also great. Just a short walk across the street. My 7 year old said, “it is kid approved!”

Very Clean

Property was very clean. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom, ceiling fan and box fan (made it feel like home for us Okies). The kitchen was well stocked for the kind of cooking we did. Location is stunning and rather quiet for it being in a condo setting. Close to town, but not in all the bustle. Parking was close for the truck and trailer we brought, and parked one car in the secure garage. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends.

Great Family Ski/Snow Location!

We had family ages 8 months to 60+ in this 4 bedroom. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The living area is on the small side for being a 4-bedroom and the lack of dining room table was not ideal, but we made it work. The kitchen was well-equipped and there were plenty of towels and linens. The large heated lobby was great for congregating in the mornings getting ready for skiing and the open slope immediately next to the building was perfect for sledding and playing in the snow! Bus pick up right outside the door was convenient. Walking to the west wall lift took a few minutes and some effort in ski boots, though it was still more convenient than taking the bus. We enjoyed our stay at Black Bear and will def be back to CB in the future!

Amazing property!!

We had a wonderful stay in Crested Butte at this beautiful property! We traveled with 3 teenagers, 2 small children, and 2 adults and were extremely comfortable. The condo is excellently equipped and we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift, which we hugely appreciated! The location is amazing - the nearest lift is just a short walk away (less than five minutes!!). We had a wonderful stay!!
