Nice place! We enjoyed the well stocked cottage with plenty of water toys to explore the Hicks Lake. We highly recommend you consider this place. Dwight was a gracious host!

Beautiful place! The views and lake access with kayaks, what more could you ask for? Dwight was welcoming and explained the amenities to us. We had a short amount of time this trip. We wish we could have stayed longer and will plan on it next time!

Charming and clean

This cottage is very cozy, clean, and super cute. The deck is gorgeous and the location is fantastic. Super well kept and charming. We enjoyed our stay and had the weather been better thus pkscecepuld he even more amazing.

Family visit

We were in town for a celebration of life ceremony so did not get to enjoy the place as much. We hope to return and next time enjoy the beautiful lake view more. Everything was great!

A great place to recharge!

I had a lovely girls weekend here. The house is clean and cozy and has everything you need. We loved reading on the dock with coffee in hand..we'd love to come back! 😁

We only live about 30 minutes away, so this was just a quick 2-night family getaway with 2 adults and 3 kids that gave us access to a nice lake. The house was beautiful, updated and very clean. One thing to note is that it is a guest house right next to the owner’s main residence. The owners were very nice, so that wasn’t an issue for us, But, with it being a more residential area vs. a recreational type of property…I felt the need to make sure we were being extra quiet. For instance, we used the fire pit one of the nights and it is very close to their window so I felt like we needed to whisper because I didn’t want to disturb them. So, it is definitely a different vibe than our typical lake cabin vacations where we hangout around the fire. It was still great and we had alot of fun enjoying the lake and playing games inside the house in the evenings. Thank you to the Midles for sharing your lovely property with us!

Perfect Stay

What we were hoping for and more! Peaceful setting and beautiful lake views hosted by a welcoming and gracious couple. What more could we ask for? We will be returning to finish kayaking to the end of the lake :)

Our family (my wife, our son, and I) had the pleasure of staying at this incredible lakeside paradise for three nights, and it exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something truly special. We made unforgettable memories together that we will cherish for years to come.This cottage has everything you could want for the perfect peaceful getaway. Whether you're looking to relax on the long private dock, swim in the lake, fish, enjoy the water toys and floaties, have a barbecue, or unwind around the fire pit, this property has it all. The views of the lake from both inside and outside the cottage are absolutely breathtaking, and the entire property was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained.What truly made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality of Dwight and Mary. They have created a warm, welcoming retreat and genuinely care about their guests having an amazing experience. We are incredibly grateful that they share this little piece of paradise with others.We wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation.
