We enjoyed our time in your lovely home. This was the first time I’ve stayed in a home on the water. It was very clean and not at all musty. Kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. Jenga, Sorry game, pool and foosball tables were fun. It was very quiet October 10-12. It must get very busy during the summer season.

This property was perfect for pur group. We had two days of hanging out on the back patio and one day on the lake. The patio furniture is comfortable, the house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We walked to the riverwalk 2 of the 3 days - fun music and fun shopping; the house is at a great location. The host was prompt in responding!

Beautifully renovated riverhouse

Best Decision

We stayed at this home May 29-June1. The house was very clean, had just enough of everything we needed and fit our purpose perfectly. Plenty of room to have several adults and 5 grandchildren over to celebrate my husbands bday. We enjoyed the nice deck out back and the pier where we tied floats for the grandaughters to enjoy. Plenty of space for every thing we wanted to do. Snuggery was right down the street. Best decision we have made to no longer get a hotel and just book this house. Communicating was great. They responded to any questions very quickly. We will be doing this again!

Great place on the river

We were in town for my FIL’s funeral. House was the perfect spot for our five adults. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold to enjoy the outdoor amenities. We enjoyed playing pool and foosball. Bedrooms were spacious and there were plenty of baths. Would stay again.

Annual Chain Trip

We have been coming up here annually for a few years now with our group of friends to boat the chain and enjoy it more and more every time. The house was perfect for 3 adult couples and the location in regards to the river and the chain was perfect. Loved every minute of this trip

Nice quaint getaway for our family

Everything was as expected. Plenty of room for the 6 adults that stayed. Patio overlooking river was very nice - could see sunset! Kitchen had everything we needed! Enough restaurants to choose from for eating out and Volo Auto Museum is a must-see!

Friends Getaway

Three families decided to getaway for the holiday weekend and found the river house in McHenry to be a perfect fit! Close to home, right on the river, updated home with plenty of space! We spent the weekend relaxing out on the huge deck and fishing from the pier. It was perfect for what we needed and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future!
