We stayed in this cottage for our summer vacation. The host, Amanda, was very accommodating when I had to change our original stay dates due to a death in the family. The cottage is in a secluded neighborhood yards away from the beach. It is adorably decorated and clean. The kitchen had a brand new gas stove and full-size refrigerator. The beds were comfortable and there was more than enough room for our family of 5. The kids got to play on the playground by the beach and we used the kayaks provided to kayak on the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

We all had a wonderful time at the place. The house itself is wonderful, with comfy beds, lots of space, and a very well kept property. The neighborhood was welcoming and we all were really happy with the entire experience.

Perfect space for family reunion with small children in attendance. Beach and park area were perfect and just steps from house.Home could use some DEEP cleaning and sprucing up. Found that outdoor hose, leaked to the kitchen when used. This was discovered quickly or could have been messy.All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and having a 10 year old and 13 year old with us proved to be great for being outdoors and enjoying the river.Contact with host, Amanda, was excellent. She was quick to respond when emailed.

Cute decor! Comfortable beds. The freezer had portable ice packs which were great for our cooler for a picnic. Furniture was pretty and comfortable.

Work Team Reunion

We found the booking process, communication with our host and the accommodations to be top shelf. Though we missed the best season for enjoying the water, the Fall setting is still welcoming.

We had a great stay! The house was perfect & looked exactly like the photos. The house felt safe and secure and as a group of girls traveling, that’s such a great feeling!! Amanda was great and was very quick to resolve an issue that we had (no fault of hers or the house). 10/10!

Love this cottage

We actually enjoyed everything about staying at this property. The host was incredibly responsive, the house is clean. It had everything we needed. Lots of sleeping space. We only wish we could’ve enjoyed the lake more. We had plans for most of the time, but it was serene, and I have definitely referred a couple of my friends to it for future use. If we come to Chicago area again, we will definitely stay here. The location was great as well, close to lots of shopping and restaurants, but yet quiet and relaxing.
