Fun Weekend in Chicago

Exactly what we were looking for!

We loved our stay here while in Chicago for a concert at Wrigley. The location was perfect and within walking distance of several coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants. The place itself, although we didn’t spent much time there, offered all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The alley parking was a big perk too!

Cozy place to stay in Chicago

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. The interior is nicely decorated and comes with awesome amenities. We had a slight hiccup at our arrival but the customer service was attentive and generous. Would recommend to my family and friends.

We rented this place because we cane into town for a concert at the United Center. The place was clean and well appointed. Our drive to the concert was about 10mins. Great location!

Hidden Gem

Located in Bucktown, this property is perfect for a city retreat, a Chicago sightseeing adventure, or a place to rest between ball games. Lots of Hispanic food options. Grocery store is very close.

Quick weekend trip

Our daughter is in DePaul’s Theatre School. We were in town for the weekend to see her show. This is a nice, clean, well stocked apartment, very convenient to downtown and Lincoln Park.

Great location & amenities

This property has great amenities and perfect location for exploring Chicago. The check in process was smooth and secure and the hosts provided everything you could need. Close to grocery stores & restaurants and less than 10 min from the Blue Line. My only complaint is that the walls are quite thin and we could hear the upstairs residents walking around until late into the evening which may disturb lighter sleepers. Otherwise I highly recommend this rental and would utilize it again.

Amazing Apartment

We wish we could have spent more time enjoying the apartment and neighborhood. Such a great experience, the host was extremely helpful with the check in process. My phone wasn’t working properly so I couldn’t get to the check in directions, I called the host and he was more than willing to help. Beautiful apartment, clean, so many extra little touches you don’t get at hotels. We will be back.

Spotless apartment for rock show road trip

Teen daughter confirms that her parents are in fact the coolest and this super clean and stylish apartment made a great contribution to our status in her eyes. Neon lights, fluffy white comforter, humorous art in the restroom, bean bag chairs and shiny finishes were 'squee🤩' worthy, even the shoe-free policy added to the experience. Had a mind blowing breakfast around the corner at Stay Cafe. Only stayed one night but there were plenty more yummy looking restaurants we could have explored in the neighborhood. The only negatives are the common sounds of city apartment life (not excessive, just unfamiliar) and tight parking for a larger vehicle but those are to be expected for the location.

How do I leave less than one star?

I don’t have anything good to say about this place. After I showed up, the key was not in the lockbox so I contacted the host to figure out what was going on. At that moment I was told that he had double booked with another platform and I was left to fend for myself on the weekend of the Chicago marathon after I’d booked this place 5 months before the trip. He refused to cancel the booking until I called vrbo support and then he said he cancelled because I, (at 33 years old) didn’t meet the minimum age requirement. The host, Mario, didn’t take any responsibility for the mistake and totally shifted all the blame to everyone but himself. Spare yourself, and find another place with accountable hosts before you end up spending 3x as much booking this place and then a hotel.

A very nice and clean apartment in a great location. The neighborhood feels safe and the back alley parking was perfect. The blue line for the train is just a few blocks away that will take you anywhere in the city. We will definitely be staying again!

This apartment was everything we were looking for - great location, free parking, comfortable and clean and cute! My daughter and I felt safe here, and were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Mario was easy to contact, responded immediately, and was helpful and friendly when we accidentally locked ourselves out (oops!). Would definitely stay again!

The place and the location was great. Our host was very responsive when we texted him. The reason I can't give it 5 stars is because someone above us was moving furniture and banging around until midnight on our first night. I talked with our host and he talked to the tenant above and we had no issues the next night. It might have been a fluke.

Back Again!

This was our 2nd stay at this unit! Close proximity to our son's place makes it an ideal location for us, but the great space, free parking, ease of check-in/out, & good communication with the hosts are just as important to the overall great experience. Highly recommend!
