The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Enjoyed the hammock and the outdoor space.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Location
Neat but…
Cabin is near, bed is comfortable and it was okay place to stay. The road is less to be desired, potholes everywhere. Staying next to mobile homes with junk everywhere makes it great scenery and little worrisome of the neighborhood. The place heats from a space heater in each bedroom one didn’t work, checked breaker and it was fine. Also from an electric space heater/fireplace in the living room. Needless to say the place was freezing. Floors colder than heck. The place was clean at least. Wouldn’t recommend staying in cold weather until an efficient heat source is added. Will not stay again.

Disappointed Travelers
First off, we were very disappointed with the neighborhood this cabin was located in - a run-down trailer on the corner and another as you approach the cabin and beyond that there was an RV setup. There was shooting going on at night across the driveway which was unnerving since it was very close. The cabin honestly seemed more like a hunting cabin rather than a vacation cabin. From the advertising, it seemed like it was much closer to the lake than it was - it is at least a 20-minute drive, so why it even comes up in the relevance on the site is a problem. There were what appeared to be urine stains on the floor in one of the bedrooms. The craftsmanship of the cabin was (sorry to say) very, very lacking - there were large gaps in the doors to the bedrooms and even to the bathroom. Sorry to be so negative - the pictures are very misleading and were obviously taken with a lens to make things appear larger. To gather at the kitchen table to eat required unfolding the card table in the corner and trying to find room to set it up and still be able to pull out the chairs. Fortunately, we decided to buy pizza and bring it back because the pans provided at the cabin were very rusty (the particular one I was going to use to warm the pizza back up was very, very rusty and I decided to use aluminum foil instead). In the bedrooms, there is barely room for beds themselves. Some of the boards appeared to be glued in some places including onto the front metal door, which made the door difficult to open because the hole saw left the knob barely able to be grasped to enter. The wasps were entering into the gap between the outside walls and the roof and were showing up in the kitchen. Honestly, if we were not exhausted already, we would have just left and found another place. Fortunately, we were only planning to stay one night as we traveled through or it would have been a major problem for us. Instead, we just decided to have some laughs at our choice in accommodation for the night and get some sleep before heading home early on our last leg of our week-long trip. I would recommend updating your advertising to reflect reality so that people's expectations are not set so high. If expecting a hunting cabin, you would probably be satisfied.

Cozy Cabin!
We loved how secluded the little cabin was! Beautiful view of the fall colors! Electric fireplace kept us nice and warm! Thankful for the kitchen and available utensils, plates, cups, and cookware to make our meals. Perfect place for a little getaway!
