The property was very clean and in a quiet, calm location. It is a little difficult getting to the property due to rough and narrow roads. Our van ended up getting stuck and required a tow for extraction. But the owners were easy to contact and very kind.

I know you were driving a large 15 passenger van but we have never encountered anyone getting stuck or needing a tow. The home itself satisfied all of our needs. The communication with the owner was excellent, they responded very quickly to any questions we had. The only negatives we had were the road getting to the house can definitely use some work and the parking is not great. The AC in the house worked extremely well and the boat dock was nice. We stayed at a time there had been a lot of storms so we weren’t able to swim off the dock due to debris in the water, but that was a common theme for all of the docks in the area. Overall pleased with our stay.

We had a fantastic stay and this was easily the cleanest place we’ve rented—by far the best of all the places we’ve stayed at the lake. It was perfect for our family of adults with plenty of space and a great setup. The home had all the cookware, utensils, and essentials we needed, which made meals and relaxing together easy.The location was ideal if you’re looking for a quieter part of the lake. The views from every deck were absolutely incredible and quickly became one of our favorite parts of the stay.The owner was extremely responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. They also recommended a boat rental company that ended up being perfect—affordable and exactly what we were looking for.A couple things worth noting: there are quite a few steps down to the dock, but we looked at it as getting a little extra workout in while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Also, there is only parking directly at the house for one vehicle. Additional parking is available but requires a very short walk, so just something to keep in mind if traveling with multiple cars.Overall, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The lake house was lovely. Brian was in daily communication and responded immediately when contacted. Home is stocked well with pans, dishes, just like home. Someone had even left behind a bottle of wine for us. The weather was cool so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake for swimming, but we spent evenings on the deck watching and identifying the beautiful birds. We were visiting a friend nearby who had been seriously ill for months. The only negative on our stay was the smell from the plug ins. We had opened doors and windows when we arrived the day prior, but our friend still became very ill from the odor and we had to leave right after breakfast. She recovered as the day went on, but unfortunately we couldn’t bring her back for her birthday dinner. FYI In the Barnett and Eldon country areas there are Mennonite stores. They sell the Best Brooms ever! Only broom I’ve ever had that picks up fine dust so well. I brought home 4 this time for gifts. We would definitely stay here again! We just have to cook the meals and take the food to our friend’s house to eat.

My family and I loved staying at your rental. Everything was perfect except for all the cameras that made us feel ickey. The cob webs were a lot for me as well. Maybe talk to cleaners. Outside that we loved the place

The cameras that are mentioned are all on the exterior of the property, unfortunately it's the world we live in today plus the fact that the vacation rental is in a secluded area with no occupied houses around it. The cameras are Disclosed ahead of time in item number eight of the check-in instructions. There are no cameras on the interior of the house. Spiders and cobwebs are a never-ending battle on lakefront properties, our cleaning crew addresses this each and every time that they are there please refer to our ratings and our reviews to see that cleanliness and tidiness are often mentioned in our four and five star reviews. potential guest should also note that in our reviews security cameras are mentioned nowhere.

Fourth of July vacation

When we arrived our host was very polite and friendly and unlocked the door so we could get in a little early. This was much appreciated because it was a hot July day. Upon entering we were pleased that the house was tidy, cool, and that the view of the lake was awesome. The host definitely had the house well stocked and comfortable for us to enjoy our time there. We will definitely be booking with Brian again.

We had a fantastic time down at this property. The owners were very accessible and messaged back quickly. Make sure you bring everything you need and groceries because there aren’t many restaurants around and no grocery stores close by. There’s one way in and the parking was difficult. Don’t expect the neighbors to wave back, they weren’t friendly whatsoever. Excellent views of the big cove, plenty to look at. Didn’t really enjoy all the stairs down to the dock. Awesome dock space with bar and super nice ladder into/out of the lake. Crappie fishing was amazing at night time and the filet station was nice. Clean house minus the cobwebs everywhere outside. Description said hot tub but there is no hot tub. We enjoyed our time there overall.

In our description and our welcoming instructions we will note the three restaurants that are within 10 minutes of the home so guests are aware. thank you for noting the cleanliness of the house, that is something we take great pride in, the cobwebs outside are always an issue when you are dealing with lakefront property and lighting, we will be instructing our cleaning crew to please make a point of removing all visible cobwebs outside the house especially near the seating areas but those pesky little things usually spin a new Webb overnight. We do appreciate you bringing to our attention that a hot tub was listed among the amenities, we have no idea how that got there but it has already been removed. once again thank you for staying with us and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Family time!

We had a wonderful time together. The host was very helpful and greeted us on the ring doorbell upon arrival providing important parking information that was so helpful. He was very responsive to our communication. The internet was very spotty and not consistent. We have stayed other places at LOTO and not had these same problems. However, the host made the suggestion of resetting and removing the motem battery and as long as we did this daily, it worked better. There were cobwebs in various places throughout the home and the window and sliding door rails hadn’t been cleaned for some time. Overall, it was a nice home and we enjoyed our time there. There were just a few items that could’ve been improved.

We feel your frustration with the Internet reliability and our glad you were able to make it work out, out here we only have a Wi-Fi hotspot and rely on cellular service, we are working diligently to find a way to make the Internet service more reliable.
