We loved staying here! It was a wonderful location for access to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. The neighborhood was quiet, and allowed for relaxing evenings to unwind after a day of fun. The trails at the park nearby were wonderful for early morning or evening strolls. The game room provided fun entertainment. I think we tried every game there! We made good use of the home with watching tv, relaxing on the deck, eating breakfast at the dining table, playing Yahtzee, and we even did a load of laundry. Along with comfy beds, wonderful amenities, and caring hosts, we enjoyed our stay very much. Also, there are a couple of great restaurants that we tried in Burlington - The Tousey House Tavern (try the fried chicken!!) and Washington Square (we had a delicious breakfast on the patio). There was an ice cream shop (Dreamy's) that was really cute, too. And, if you have the time, drive over to Florence, KY and have dinner at Ford's Garage. Great food and fun atmosphere!! Overall, we loved staying in Sven & Judy's home and staying in the Burlington area. Would definitely recommend :)

Great location and very clean!

This was the perfect location for our stay. It was close to the CVG airport, creation museum and Ark! Very clean and perfect for any ages. My 6 and 8 year old loved the game room. The communication, cleanliness and check in/out process was a 10/10. Would definitely Etsy here again if we are back in the area.

Property was clean and well managed, with consistent and timely communication from property manager. Located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to groceries -- and 10 mins to museum and easy 30 min drive to Ark. Had two kids under 10 with us and they really enjoyed the small game room.

We had a great stay here! There is a park close by with great walking trails and nice playground equipment. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were quick to respond to us. If we are in the area another time, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great home for a group

We visited with some friends and wanted some place close to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. We were pleased to see that the local town was very festive during Christmas and there was a huge light display just down the street from us. We enjoyed our planned sites as well as the town of Burlington.

This location is a halfway point for us to meet up with family. The house is perfect. There was plenty of space and plenty for 4 boys (ages 12-15) to do. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed.

Amazing Time At Avalon Paradise

We had an amazing time! The house was extremely clean, and everything was exactly as described. We couldn’t believe all the “extras” that were included, including soaps/shampoos, hair dryers, etc. Everyone loved the game room, and the proximity to the Creation Museum and Ark was a major benefit. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely stay here again, and you should too!

Graduation trip

Traveled from Florida for our Grandson's graduation. House was close to my Daughter. Wow, what a Great Place! We couldn't have found a more accommodating home to stay in. Had everything we needed. Kentucky get away

The house is as listed with lots of extra perks to make it feel homey. The only thing we did not realize was the bedroom downstairs, you have to go through it to get to the game room/patio. We did have an issue with the A/C the owner got it rectified immediately. I will say i have used vrbo and this is the 1st time i felt as if i was staying in someone's home meaning they made it apparent to clean not damage etc throughout the stay. I also received a lot of messages/txts daily anout where to go etc when i did t reply i was texted about it. This was extremely odd for me i try to unplug on vacay and not be on my phone and yes the suggestions where nice but i dont feel i need to reply daily to you as i am renting a home not using a friends place. I was sent the cleaning/exiting procedures so many times i spent my last night cleaning for over 4 hours just to be told our cleaner did not mention you cleaned anything?! So the place is nice, i was taken aback by the overwhelming need to be told what to do the whole trip. Also, side note, it is located very close to an airport, the planes come and go all day/night which can be heard very well inside the home.
