Sleeps up to 20 with 3 master suites, a 4th private bedroom, bunk rooms, & a sofa bed.

My journey to owning a cabin in the Smoky Mountains has been deeply rooted in my personal and professional experiences. As a trauma surgeon for the special forces, my life was dedicated to providing critical care in high-stress environments. Living in Birmingham, Alabama, I often found solace and rejuvenation in the serene embrace of the Smokies after intense deployments, grueling training, and long months of trauma call at the University of Alabama.
When my tenure in Alabama came to an end, I felt a profound loss, as if I had lost my connection to the area that had provided me with so much solace and tranquility. However, with the acquisition of Robin's View, everything changed. This cabin became more than just a place to retreat; it became a symbol of rekindled ties and secured bonds with the territory and its people.
As I continue to create new memories and forge deeper connections with the Smoky Mountains, I am grateful for the opportunity to call this place my own. It is a privilege to have a refuge that allows me to return to the mountains, once again finding peace, rest, and a sense of belonging.

The mountains, with their majestic beauty and tranquil aura, became a sanctuary where I could decompress from the demanding nature of my work. Every visit to the Smokies was an escape from the trauma-filled lifestyle, offering a chance to reconnect with nature and find inner peace. Even during my time in the mountains of Afghanistan, I would find myself picturing the contrasting beauty of the Smokies, longing for their familiarity and serenity.
Robin's View serves as a constant reminder of the deep connection I share with the Smoky Mountains and the communities that thrive within them. It represents the culmination of my journey, a tangible manifestation of the peace and rest I found in this part of the country. With each visit to the cabin, I am reminded of the challenges I've overcome and the sacrifices I've made, both personally and professionally. It is a testament to the resilience and strength that brought me to this point.
Owning this cabin is not just about having a place to escape; it is about honoring the transformative power of the Smokies in my life. It is about cherishing the memories of healing, reflection, and rejuvenation that the mountains have provided me throughout my journey. Robin's View stands as a tribute to the territory, its people, and the profound impact they have had on my life.
