Enjoy this cozy lake front home with a great view from the front room full of windows, with a private deck leading to a beautifully landscaped yard and a large private lakefront deck and dock. Truly your home away from home to build wonderful family memories! Our comfortable lake home is ideally suited for your family or small groups of close friends. This lakefront home includes 3 bedrooms each with a queen sized bed, a TV in each room and a provided blow up mattress will comfortably sleep 8.Important amenities include two full bathrooms, washer and dryer, bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, all necessary kitchen appliances, both drip and Keurig coffee makers, cable internet and smart flatscreen TV.s in each bedroom and living room. Outside amenities include gas grill, outside charcoal grill, fire pit. 3 kyacks including life jackets, a fishing and swimming area along with a swim raft. There is docking space to bring your own boat.
*Located 15 minutes from Hillsdale College making it ideal for move-in, special events or graduation. Available year round with beautiful fall colors, winter fun including ice fishing, hunting, and simple relaxation when needed. Decorated Christmas during the holidays, It is a wonderful place to come “Winter with us also.”Deer hunting, ice fishing, Thanksgiving and Christmas and new year’s time are available, a great place year around! We all loved our time at this property. The cottage was clean and very well stocked. The lake was fantastic for swiming and kayaking. Nice sandy lake with a swim platform. The large deck area was our go to place to just chill and/or eat. I'm definitely planning on returning!

We enjoyed our stay very much! We had 7 adults and had a great time relaxing on the decks. So much outdoor seating! Lovely home with comfortable beds and plenty of “extras” lined up beach towels, kayaks, etc. I would definitely recommend this property!

This isn't a rental. This is your 2nd home! We felt so at home here. Everything was well stocked, furnished, equipped with just about everything you'd use in your everyday home. The only thing that was missing from the kitchen was a blender, but everything else was there. It's a very peaceful and quiet spot. There were even toys for our little one, which was a nice touch! We're definitely staying here in the future.

Tucked on a small road, away from traffic, the property easily accommodated four adults and three children with plenty of room to spare. The back patio was a wonderful place to watch the sunrise and enjoy breakfast. The host was very easy to communcate with and responsive! If you are looking for a place in Hillsdale, I recommend this property. And the price was PERFECT!

This is a great location for parents visiting kids at Hillsdale College. Patti was very responsive and the home is cozy. Our kids appreciated being able to come over and visit, have a meal with us and enjoy the s'mores and snacks Patti left for us! Would definitely visit again!

Relaxing and Fun

Great family little vacation

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, and our kids loved kayaking and spending time on the water. Patty, the host, was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout our stay. We made great memories and enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend!

Why they chose this property

It’s a wonderful spring fed lake not too small not too big, we have a great spot no steps just straight out to the lake.

What makes this property unique

My home is 50 feet straight up from the lake, I have a beautiful big tree for shade in the heat of the afternoon, there is a great swimming area to stay cool and spend hours floating or swimming! there is also a swim raft to lay on. I enjoy the outdoors tremendously during the summer months.
