Enjoy your stay in our renovated farmhouse which was initially a log cabin built in the 1800s. It is perfectly nestled in between pastures and trees and is a short walk to our gardens and a beautiful bank barn. We encourage our guests to disconnect and unwind while staying at our Inn. Once you check in you’ll find that we make it very easy to relax. With no distractions such as televisions or wifi, you’ll be able to truly enjoy the natural beauty of the smells, sounds, and sights of rural farm life. Hear our rooster crow and watch them nest in trees at dusk. Watch the goats and sheep play in pastures. Collect free-range eggs. Cut flowers or stroll out to the barn.
The staff that you will find cleaning the Inn, making up your room, and setting out coffee and other treats are learning how to be innkeepers. This is an active farm with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities that work daily with our livestock, agriculture, and the Inn during the week. They take great pride in making your stay as comfortable as possible. By staying at the Inn guests increase the opportunity for inn-keepers to make interesting acquaintances, learn about new places, become more proficient at hospitality and housekeeping, and share their enthusiasm and knowledge about Red Tomato Farm & Inn.
