Did not meet expectations

The room is a basement area which looked like it was clean at some point in the past but since then the crickets and spiders have naturally made it their home with no other occupants. We got rid of the crickets we could find but the remaining ones made it impossible to sleep. We paid for two nights but stayed in a nearby hotel for the 2nd night. The host did offer the 3 bedroom upstairs for us to stay in for the 2nd night but we declined. This place has potential but every place that will be rented out needs to be 'freshly' cleaned. Air conditioning would help with any basement dampness to improve comfort. I am not trying to give more negativity than we experienced, I just think that the description was not accurate for this rental.
