About this property
Two Top Stop - Newly built cabin, 16m from Yellowstone, across from Henry's Lake
Welcome to Two Top Stop! Tucked away in the Targhee National Forest between Island Park and West Yellowstone, Two Top Stop is in the perfect location for all your adventures. It is the perfect place to "Get Lost" in nature. Our family purchased this cabin in 2022 and spent several months working to make it a beautiful and comfortable place to take your family or group on the perfect vacation.
Whether you're snowmobiling, hiking, playing on ATVs, visiting Yellowstone, or fly fishing at Henry's Lake, our cabin is in a perfect centralized location for all of your adventuring needs. West Yellowstone is a short 15 minute drive away, meaning that Two Top Stop is one of the closest full-amenity cabins you can find to the West Yellowstone entrance.
Better yet, the quick five minute drive down our dirt road to the cabin provides you the quiet serenity of a relaxing vacation away from close neighbors and large developments. You won't have to be worried about any noisy neighbors during your stay, while getting to enjoy moose and elk visitors in the early mornings at the cabin. Enjoy watching their grandeur as you sit on the deck enjoying your morning coffee. In the winter, the cabin is only accessible by a quick 5 minute snowmobile drive. Guests will be responsible for getting themselves to the cabin via snowmobile if they rent Two Top Stop during the winter months.
Our cabin includes enough space indoors and outdoors to stretch out comfortably. The cabin also includes all of the basic amenities that you would need during your stay, including a kitchen ready to prepare meals for a group. The main level hosts a kitchen area our family has found large enough to prepare and feed a Thanksgiving meal. This space also has a dining room table that can seat 12 guests comfortably. The main level also has a spacious bathroom with a tub/shower combo, a bedroom with a Queen sized-bed, and an extra space perfect for board games and gabbing.
The basement has a bar, mini fridge, and 75 inch flat screen TV with all of the necessary cables and connections you need for your entertainment preferences. The basement also has a bedroom with a King sized-bed and a bathroom with shower. A washing machine and dryer are also available for guest use.
The loft is the perfect space for teens and children. The space has a bathroom with shower included, a spacious closet, a 50 inch flat screen TV with all necessary cables, as well as a Queen sized-bed, and a Full/Twin bunk.
Two Top Stop is in the perfect area for a vacation. Nearby shopping, restaurants, museums, the Grizzly Discovery Center, the local Playhouses, and the IMAX Theatre all provide incredible entertainment. Local tours and guides can provide all of the hiking, horse-riding, kayaking, and animal encounters you could ever want. A quick drive down the road will take you to our family's favorite place: Johnny Sack's Cabin, a small but beautiful cabin built on top of Big Springs by one of the earliest settlers to the area. Mesa Falls, Harriman State Park, and Henry's Lake State Park are also beautiful areas worthy of a visit.
Our family is honored to share our cabin with you and we hope that you enjoy your stay at Two Top Stop!

About the host
Hosted by Alex Holt
Hello! We are the Holts. We are adventurers, hikers, try-anything-oncers, hunters, snowmobilers, I-can-fix-that-ers, campers, diyers, and anything-to-do-with-the-outdoors-ers. West Yellowstone has always been a place of joy and wonder for our growing family. We have four children, under the age of 7, who we are raising up to love the great outdoors. We also have a wire-haired pointing griffin pup named Bandit. We have lived in Eastern Idaho for most of our adult lives.
Why they chose this property
We bought Two Top Stop to fulfill one of our growing family's dreams of having a home away from home to go play in nature. We have four young children and we love taking them on all sorts of adventures, like hiking, rafting, and hunting. One of our favorite ways to spend our time is with family, and we knew we wanted a place where all of our siblings and family members could gather for Thanksgiving dinner or Christmas morning. A "home-base" for those cold snowmobile trips. A place to nap and rest for the young children after a day at Yellowstone. Two Top Stop has provided our young family joy as we have worked on improving it and preparing it to share with guests. Our children may be young now, but we look forward to when they will look back on all of the fun times we had at the family cabin. You staying with us helps make that happen. Thank you!
