Bears Den Chalet | Ski Home Trail, Moover Shuttle, Outdoor Hot Tub!

Our Bears Den Chalet is a rustic, cozy, stand alone home nestled within the woods of the Bears Crossing Community - adjacent to the Mt. Snow Ski resort. Enjoy the convenience of the free Moover Shuttle (on weekends and holidays) - which stops right at the end of our driveway! The ski home trail, exclusive for Bears Crossing residents (snow permitting), is also located directly across the street (approx. 300 ft.), and is also perfect for hiking and biking in warmer months. As our guest, you are permitted access to the Bears Crossing club house - which offers a variety of amenities including a gym, pool table, ping pong, tennis courts (summer), and heated outdoor pool (in summer). Apart from skiing/snowboarding, our home is also close to hiking trails, mountain biking, horseback riding, snow shoeing, tubing, snowmobiling, kayaking, lakes, Haystack and Mount Snow Golf courses, as well as the nearby historic towns of West Dover and Wilmington.

This rustic 3,050 sq. ft 3-level home features 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, lower level den/playroom, ample parking for up to 4 cars with a Level 2 EV charger, and expansive decks to take in the mountain views. High speed internet and 2 desk spaces enable guest to work from home and easy streaming of personal devices. Store your jackets, shoes, skis/boards in the attached heated mudroom/entrty. Cozy up by the wood burning fireplace and Roku Smart TV, or catch a glimpse of the starry night sky from the main-level deck. Deck also provides a propane BBQ grill for your use.

Main floor features a large open concept living space, tremendous natural light from the large windows, living room with fireplace, full bathroom with shower stall, and 2 guest rooms (1 king & 1 queen). The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking/baking essentials (pans, trays, griddle, waffle maker, etc) and both a Keurig brewing system and 12 cup Mr. Coffee pot. Open kitchen has counter seating for five and adjacent dining room provides table seating for eight more.

Upper Level features two bedrooms with Queen sized beds, as well as a large bathroom with tub/shower.

Lower/ground level features a large rec room/den with numerous board games, a foosball table, and Nintendo Wii for your use. The 5th and 6th bedrooms are also located on this level (1 Queen + 1 Full Sized Bed), as well as a full bathroom with shower stall.

Other things to Note:
- Note this home is strictly pet free and enforced by the Homeowners Association (HOA)
- Primary renter must be 25 and over
- Rental agreement with Photo ID and security deposit will be required after booking confirmation
- Completion of HOA required Rental Form
- No parties
- An outdoor Ring Floodlight + Ring Doorbell camera is on the property to ensure that parking and number of guests are within our max allowed

This was one of the best rentals I’ve been at. It comfortably fit 12 people, had a great hot tub, was very close to mount snow, had some games to play, was super clean, plenty of bathrooms for everyone, the host was awesome and easy to communicate with. Overall it was just a great spot I would highly recommend!

The host was amazing. In fact, best host ever. We had some car trouble and Wil really helped us out. He responded to messages immediately. The place had everthing you could possibly want. The linens were fantastic as well. There are also heated pads that lead to the hot tube which makes it easier getting there when its been snowing. Thanks Wil. We will definitely be back!!! This place was awesome. Oh, and the Moover shuttle stops right out front during the weekends during the winter. 10 stars!!!

Perfect for a large family group

We had the best time - house was clean, plenty of space for three families with toddlers. Basement was awesome for hanging out with the kids, location was easy! The host was thorough and super accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect cozy ski house for families

We loved our stay here! The place was perfect for 3 families. Cozy living room upstairs and kids setup downstairs. Lots of bedrooms - all comfortable and clean. Best part was the shuttle to Mt Snow and especially the ski trail home, made it so easy with a group of teens. Dry well stocked kitchen and excellent communication with host. Would love to stay here again!

Great Father/Son Ski Trip

Bears Den Chalet was the perfect place for our stay. The house has an excellent layout, with very comfortable common space and full kitchen, as well as many nice bedrooms for group living. Everything was in great order, from the ski room when you first enter to the multi-level living space and bedoroms/loft. And quick straight shot to Mt. Snow. Great choice!

Childhood Friends Ski Getaway

From the initial booking process to the day of checkout, everything experienced at this home was 5 star! The house was everything we could have asked for and more, was able to sleep 12 adults comfortably with great living spaces, kitchen and basement, and allowed us to feel at home! We all debated buying the home from the hosts multiple times throughout the trip due to how homey and lovely the house was lol! Definitely saving the location and booking again in the future!

Perfect Ski House!

The house was a perfect fit for our group of 11. The location is excellent. We used the Moover to get to the mountain. Easy location for quick trips to the market. The house itself has been maintained and has lots of personal touches. We had all of the dishes, cookware, dish soap, etc to make meals. We appreciated the wireless chargers in bedrooms, nice hand soaps, plenty of bath towels and tissues. The host provided prompt communication and an informative guide to the house. Would definitely stay here again!

Annual ski trip with friends

We had such a fun weekend! The house was so cozy and easily accommodated the 12 of us (6 couples). The home owners provided great communication, answered any questions and shared helpful information throughout the weekend. We enjoyed being able to cook, we brought food for most meals. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The shuttle to the mountain was an added bonus and the ski home trail from the mountain was a hit! Thank you again!

Memorable Fall Trip

I found this rental very last minute, looking for a comfortable place that would house 10 of us. Thinking our options were limited, we were incredibly lucky to find this place. Not only was Will perfectly communicative, every part of booking/check-in was easy. Even though there were issues with the main floor heater, Will helped us navigate that. The immaculate vibes of the house in the midst of peak fall was amazing, and we almost extended our stay.

Perfect ski house getaway

We were 2 families that rented this house and loved everything about it. There is plenty of space for the kids and adults to spread out with the most comfortable beds we have ever had in a rental house. The living room upstairs has a large sectional couch that we could all fit on for watching movies and the snow fall through the beautiful floor to ceiling windows. The downstairs living room had a lot of space for the kids to play games and watch movies. The access to the Moover shuttle was perfect and the house was well stocked with everything we could need. It was a very clean house and the hosts were so helpful and responsive. We would absolutely rent this house again for our next ski trip to Mount Snow.

This was my first time using VRBO The host was very communicative and put any fears at ease. We had 2.5 couples and 5 kids. We still had room. We didn’t even use the basement bedroom(s) A great 3 day 2 night get away. The house has anything you need for cooking, cleaning, bathing…. Perfect Mt. Snow house for a medium/large size group

We are repeat guests at the Bears Den Chalet. The house comfortably slept our group of 12 adults, with each couple getting their own room. There's plenty of space to spread out with two living rooms on the first and lower floor. For the skiers/boarders in our group, the Moover shuttle conveniently picks-up at the bottom of the driveway and drops-off at Mt. Snow base lodge. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment and there's a natural gas grill on the back deck. For those not looking to cook, there are plenty of great restaurants between Mt. Snow and Wilmington, only 10min down the road. The owner, Will, is super responsive and provides a house guide app that is extremely helpful and well thought out. Looking forward to booking again for next season!

Ski Trip for Grooms to Be

We stayed at bears den for a ski weekend to celebrate our grooms to be. The house was awesome. Perfect and comfortable for 12 guests. There was plenty of room to spread out and not disturb guests who went to bed a little earlier than the rest. The shuttle to mt snow picks you up right at the bottom of the driveway and ropa you off just the same. It was incredible. Will was super responsive and attentive. The hosts helped me with restaurant recommendations and also helped connect me with a private chef (nomad chefs) that came to the house one night. Cannot recommend this place enough. Perfect for cozy winter storm and plenty of games to occupy. We will return!

Amazing Stay in one of the most well thought rentals we've ever been in!

We (a bunch of families) rent a house almost every year "somewhere" to go skiing, additionally, a few of those families also own a rental property. Our stay at Bears Den surpassed all of our expectations, AND gave the families with their own rental house a bunch of ideas to make their better! Everything we needed was there, and that included cooking every night but one, we had plenty of space with the kids taking over the basement and the adults sitting by the fire watching the Olympics. All the best were comfortable, and all the little things were perfect (example, most rental places NEVER have enough hooks.. this place had hooks EVERYWHERE.. you don't realize how much you need them until you don't have them!). Location was great, 5 min drive to slopes when we didn't take the Moover, and the ski home trail was perfect and super easy!! Great stay and amazing hosts!!

Although we would ski every weekend if we could, we have decided to open our home for guest rentals when we cannot make use of it ourselves.
