The house offers pristine distant views and easy access to Lake Whitingham, Enjoyed by swimmers, boaters, paddlers and fishermen. (3-Kayaks, stand up paddle board and multiple bikes included in rental). The house has an open floor plan offering 3 separate lounging areas. Cathedral ceilings in living room with exposed timber beams provide a rustic cabin feel. Radiant heated floor makes for a comfortable house in winter. Covered deck with grill and table just off kitchen. 3 Full baths, 4 bedroom.Two of the queen rooms offer amazing lake views. High quality game room is an integrated part of the house and includes a slate Pool Table, 12' Shuffleboard table, Foosball and Ping pong. Historic downtown Wilmington is 1 mile away. A walkable village center with shops and restaurants, nestled in a beautiful natural setting. Surrounded by lakes, mountains and forest offering miles of hiking trails. You can walk to town from our property mostly thru a wooded trail. less than a 1 mile hike! Driveway is plowed and sanded in winter. However we do require that you have 4wd or all wheel drive vehicles During snow season. House Features Include:- 60" TV, TV in game room, both smart TV's with surround sound, Hi Speed Wireless internet Leather couches- Quality game room (Slate pool table, Quality Shuffleboard , Foosball Table & ping pong) Sauna - BBQ on deck,Sheets & Towels are included. The Best quality game room! Mount Snow is a 10 minute drive- Covered outdoor hot tub(September- March only)- Indoor sauna- Wood burning stove Summer Features: Bikes (5) and kayaks (3)and newly aquired Paddelboard. included with rental- Lake for swimming & boating at base of private drive, amazing water quality.-Boat launch at base of private drive. 1 mile walk town,The town of Wilmington, a historic small town charted in 1751, is 1 mile away. Town highlights include restaurants, local boutiques, shops, library, supermarket, great bookstore & performing arts center... all just 1 mile away. Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please make sure Hottub is covered with both covers & Turned down.
Please leave blankets in bedrooms, Only strip beads sheets.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
A fee of 150 USD will be charged per guest, Per night above the allotted 10 Person Maximum.
Hot tub (Winter Rentals Only) must be maintained by adding chlorine after each use. Hot tub needs to be covered when not in use.
All vehicles must be 4wd/AWD between December 1 and March 30.

We just returned from a 4-day vacation with our children and grandchildren, and we had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, and a kitchen with all of the supplies we needed to prepare meals. Everyone really enjoyed the game room, and shuffleboard was so much fun. The views of the lake from the house were absolutely beautiful. We spent a lot of time outside in the spacious backyard and snacked on s'mores around the fire pit at night. The lake was great for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Many thanks to our wonderful host Tony for answering questions quickly and providing information during our stay. We highly recommend this property!

Excellent place with lots of room, space and quiet. Well stocked kitchen. We found all we needed with exception of a pizza cutter. The water access is not private but still worked great for swimming and boating. View from house is fantastic and being at the end of the road results in no neighbors in view while in the large yard. Good location for day trips to the surrounding mountain and conservation areas. Covered porch and large Game room works out well for rainy days. Sauna is a nice bonus. Highly recommended.

Tony was a wonderful host. He checked in with us to see if we were settled in and if all was well.The views were amazing! We could hear loons in the morning. The deck off the kitchen was a lovely place to eat and chant. There were enough kayaks for us to have fun on the lake, and the water was great for swimming.There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Wilmington. Take advantage of the delicious pastries at Starfire Bakery. Drive to West Brattleboro to Nik's Creemee!The kitchen was well equipped. The kids loved the game room. We donated a 1,000 piece puzzle of turtles to the house for others to enjoy.

My husband and I and two couples had the absolute pleasure of staying at Tony’s home. There were three couples, and we all had our own room and bathroom and enough room to completely spread out. The setting is spectacular overlooking the water with beautiful sunrises and sunsets .We had SO much fun in the game room and The communication with Mark was fantastic. Absolutely nothing lacking in this home from reserving to host communication to amenities to the view! Tony is the absolute nicest host. Clear instructions and consistent communication. The house is fully stocked with enough of everything from paper towels to dishes and cookware to wood for the wood stove, sheets, towels, throws, comfy furniture, games, ping pong, pool, hot tub, sauna, tv, stereo and loads of space! Clean and well cared for. Be prepared to shovel a bit if it snows. Stairs to main living area. Everything operated as expected. Highly recommend!

Beautiful

The house and view of the lake are beautiful. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we've taken. Everyone loved it! We had a great time and got a lot of use out of the game room. The yard was big enough to play lots of lawn games. Tony was a pleasure to work with. Would love to stay here again.

I've been coming to Wilmington for 25+ years. As a water skiier, I fell in love with the water quality at the lake for summer time boating.

I am 34 years married to my wonderful wife Jeannette and have two great kids.

Why they chose this property

From the moment we stepped on to the property we knew we had something special.
Location was just ideal, with incredible lake views, boat ramp at end of private drive, only 1 mile to quaint downtown Wilmington. Close to Mount Snow. And of course, the super clean lake... it had it all.
Ok...the house needed some work... but I could handle that! We made the move and never looked back.
