Had a fantastic weekend at this cabin. Beautifully maintained, sparking clean and beautiful cabin. Everything was exactly as pictured and is even better in person. Would stay here again x100
We had a good time staying at a quaint cabin in a secluded small town area of Vermont. However, one night was disrupted by a group of people who were loud and argumentative, possibly trespassing while trying to set up camp nearby.
We had a lovely stay at the rustic log cabin. It was in a very peaceful setting and I was able to take nice long walks around the area. It was a nice time all around. The only thing I missed was having a dishwasher but otherwise, it was all very good!
We stayed three nights here. Just the two of us. I felt the pictures were misleading. Much smaller than expected. Since it was just the two of us it was perfect.

Home away from home.
We absolutely LOVED the log cabin escape! Such a beautiful home and such a beautiful location! I can only imagine the beauty at the peak of the winter season. Our 2 grandsons, 7 and 10 had so much fun playing in the huge yard and making s'mores in the fire pit at night. Cozy, but not cramped as there was plenty of room for the 6 of us to stretch out. The quaint town of Wilmington is just a few minutes away for your shopping and dining needs. We look forward to the opportunity to stay again!
This is a beautiful log cabin! Setting is quiet and picturesque and easy to find. The house is well maintained and has everything you need. We cooked in all nights and enjoyed the firepit in the cool spring weather. On arrival house was immaculate, beds made and towels set out. They provide a book of brochures on what to do in the area. Not to miss- the North River bakery right down the street! They have a great selection and even have prepared family meals to go. We will be staying again!

Snow, no go
Lovely property. However the property management team ruined the experience. Driveway was not plowed after snow storm, responded by stating the state was responsible for cleaning ... which makes no sense. recevied bot responses from text and phone calls when asked for timeline of additional snow plow needs. Very difficult to get a hold of and get timely response.

Secluded log cabin that needs some TLC.
My husband and I rented this cabin just for the 2 of us.It was a bit smaller than the pictures online. We have been renting on VRBO for the last 13 years, and have experienced certain discrepancies with each house. The showerhead in the upstairs BR leaked and was need of repair. There were carpenter ants in the house and on the deck.I burnt my hand using their old oven mitts taking food out of the oven, that's how used they were. Some of the furniture in the LR were broken. The kitchen was not fully stocked,so,if,you are cooking, bring what you would normally use.My biggest complaint was people coming to the cabin ,like the electric company ,and the landscaping guys, and the host,Vacasa, never texted us to say they were going to be there. When you pay money to stay at these rentals, you shouldn't have to deal with any issues, really. We left a day earlier than planned.

Susan, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet expectations and appreciate you taking the time to share these concerns. We’ve addressed the maintenance issues, including repairing the leaking showerhead and replacing the worn oven mitts. The living room furniture has also been inspected and repaired or replaced as needed. We’re currently reviewing the kitchen inventory to ensure it’s better stocked for future guests who plan to cook during their stay. Regarding the unannounced visits, we understand how frustrating that must have been. While occasional maintenance or utility checks are sometimes necessary, we agree that guests should always be notified in advance. We’ve shared your comments with our local team to improve communication going forward. We're sorry you chose to leave early and hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future.
Overall, this place was very nice. The grounds are lovely, and feel more intimate than they look in the pictures. Great firepit, and my kids loved climbing on the big rocks all around. The house itself is new and snug, with lots of sleeping space. There is a general store just half a mile away which had everything we needed for our stay. Our main issue was the main living level, which was much more cramped than looks from the pictures, and packed with furniture which made navigating the space and moving around the kitchen challenging. There were just two adults and two kids, and we had trouble moving about; I can't imagine navigating it with a house full of people.
Well equipped in some ways (lots of pans and storage containers, a laundry basket and detergent) and off in others (broken trash can lid, no drying rack for dishes, empty boxes of food wrap in the drawers, no remote for one of the two tvs) which probably reflect the difference between a management company overseeing the place and an individual owner. Most of these small details were just irritants but didn't really affect our stay--it was a comfortable, new house with fresh furnishings and lots of outdoor space.

Great cabin!
We loved staying at the cabin. It had everything we needed, games, stocked kitchen, privacy, space. The view of Jacksonville pond was a pleasure to enjoy while drinking my coffee on the porch. The internet was a little spotty but if no one else was on it, the tv streamed fine and my husband was able to do his zoom call with no issues. The local general store was great and make sure you check out the ledges while in the area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an out of the way getaway!!!
Jacuzzi Tub did not work, trash can was half full
Of bottles and cans from last people there. Climate system did not have functioning A/C the floor vents were filled with fiberglass batting.
You’d think a summer rental would advertise that there is no working A/C if a system is not installed. The place was fairly clean but you can tell it was cheaply put together. Definitely not worth the price this cabin looked like something out of a catalog you put together on a foundation. There was a gap big enough in the wall in the bedroom that you could see the light coming through from the bathroom. The Queen bed feels like you’re going to fall through it. I could have paid the same money for a quality hotel with a functioning jacuzzi tub and a toilet that doesn’t wiggle around when you sit on it. Also the water view is a pond that is almost barely visible from the house due to all the brush and trees.
