The Space:
Our cabin is in Cosby, Tennessee. Located on a beautiful mountain pass that leads directly into Gatlinburg. Its a very scenic route, running along the border of the National park. feel like you're deep in the Smokies.
The property offers privacy, with the next closest cabin being close to 100 ft away. The property is situated with privacy in mind.
Greenbrier Creek is a springfed mountain stream that flows directly from the park. The sounds reverberate through the property. There's a bridge that leads the creek just a few yards from the cabin entrance. Black bear are a common site in the area. Please keep pets on a leash at all times. There's plenty of room on the property to walk them. The GSMNP does not allow pets on the trails. However, the Cherokee National forest does. It's also a short drive away from the property.
The Cosby section of the park boast 80% of the old growth forest in the NP. Many hikes from entrances near the cabin will take into the highland areas with trees that are 100's of years old. This is d/t the elevation putting the trails out of the range of logging companies that owned the land prior to its designation as a National park.

We are registered nurses that specialize in nephrology. We have a 13 year old daughter name Chloe. After the pandemic, we decided to spend our savings on a mountain getaway that was available for everyone to enjoy. We hope our visitors feel the dedication and love we've put into this unique vacation property. We chose King Rentals to manage our property because it is family run business that is proven to be dedicated to providing an amazing guests experience.
Why they chose this property
The convenient location and the unique and charming features of the cabin will make you happy with your choice. For example, the in the kitchen and living room constructed from a 150 year old barn that once stood on the property. The former owners family used the barn to hide a secret moonshine still during the 1930's prohibition era.
All of the cabinets, countertops, and beds, were build from scratch by local craftsmen.
Greenbriar Creek makes the property have the feel of staying in the national park. Wildlife, including black bear, frequent the area. The Eastern Hemlock and giant Rhodenderons, unique to the region, can be found throughout the property.
There's a brand new hot tub that is emptied, sanitized and refilled between each stay. You can binge watch your favorite shows from the hot tub on the 55 in smart TV. See pics for reference
The large, covered front deck features a high end competition dart board. There's also an outdoor kitchen! It's complete with gas grill, a flat top griddle, and refridgeration. A table with 4 chairs is also located on the deck.
